Sasse's Weight Loss Diary

Im trying to get back on track with recording what i eat, It so easy to over do it when i dont.

Breakfast
- tea with milk and honey
- cottage cheese 3/4 cup
- pear
- almonds 1/3 cup whole

Lunch
- 4 ounces sole
- carrots and asparagus
- 1/2 cup rice
- water

Snack
- banana
- cottage cheese

Dinner
*Nando's
- 2 chicken skewers with lemon herb seasoning
- spring mix salad with dressing on the side
- coke zero
- one bottle water

10pm
- tea with honey and milk *1teaspoon honey

12 - water

thanks muchly cerella, sorry my reply is so late... having issues with the computer. Dan picked me up a monitor..so hopefully that will help my sanity a little. I was getting tired of having to tilt the monitor with my left hand to stop it from flipping and typing with my right...lol
I enjoyed our visit the other day, it was fun...next time we will actually walk..lol

Its been way too long since ive written in my diary. Between a computer monitor that was driving me crazy and a stupidly hectic work schedule Ive not had time for much. Though i have to admit i had a good weekend and did some fun things, which is exactly what i needed. I did eat out at a nice place for my friends birthday, and im pretty sure that i dont want to know the calorie count, but i really wouldnt trade that time for anything, it was well worth it.
Im having quite the struggle getting myself motivated for the gym, and have become the queen of excuses. Not impressed with myself at all. It is something i am trying to get a grip on. I know that part of it is * and this really isnt a crap excuse* that ive been so tired lately due to my health issues, though im trying to work through that and keep my motivation up. Does anyone know if hypnosis works???? :)

Yes I enjoyed gettin together s well - lets plan for next time with no kids - lol - sorry abt that I know you dont mind but really I should be able to escape a bit without either of them...

Maybe I should join your gym and kick your ass into going wiht me regularly...I really wanna quit Curves but my aunt doesnt want me too - I think she needs me as her motivcation to go I might need to rethink abt quiting but i feel I have spread my wings beyond Curves ande I need my sleep and comp time and down time instead of boot camp - it was all too much for me...

I have some news - maybe I will send you an email I dont wanna post it publicly in a diary - wont even post in mine - Im sure if you think long and not even hard abt it you can figure it out - *SIGH* ... LOL

Anyway I do think us settin up a walking date would be good - Im gettin pretty lazy - LOL
 
I worked a late shift tonight, just got home about 1 15am, We had a pretty busy and physical day at work. I actually dont mind that, because i feel really good about everything we got done. I got up early enough to go for a walk and have a good breakfast in a relaxed way. I find that when im rushing around my eating really gets effected.
Walked briskly outside for 40 minutes.

Breakfast:
- 2 egg omelet with green peppers, mushrooms and aspargus topped with 1/2 ounce of lite aged cheddar
- 1 cup melon
- 2 glasses of hot lemon water

10 am - apple and water

lunch:
- spring mix salad with prawns and 1 ounce of fetta
- 1 flax bun
- 1 diet coke
- 2 glasses water

3pm
- 3/4 cup cottage cheese

6pm
- mixed frozen veggies, mashed potatoes and beef

9pm
- 2 cookies

11pm
- large tea with milk and honey

2am
- I really really want something bad..lol..but im going to go to bed.

Good job on the food and especially walking nad going to bed and resisting tempation...:):):)I will send ya an email tomorrow mornign - things have been a bit insaine on tehis end and I am lucky Im finding breathing space

Thanks cerella, it was a struggle, i tell you, this whole thing has been a struggle, but im down 10 pounds now..lol..its SLOWLY working,
I hope your schedule doesnt stay too crazy for you. Your energy is going to start to fizzle if you are not careful

Tea is my saving grace, its warm comforting and usually gets me through the "I need to eat everything in sight, even if i dont really like it" stage

Im typing one handed with a 16 pound cat over my shoulder. *She needs weight loss forum too* I swear, she jumps up on me as if she thinks she weighs 8 pounds. Meanwhile she almost takes me and the computer chair down. Anyways...enough about about sasha..lol.
Today i missed breakfast, slept late, still not feeling well due to the diabetes, but i am on the right track for getting it undercontrol, and thats what is important.
Its the exercise that I havent been fitting in. I am physical at work, but thats just not enough, so Im going to sit down this weekend and work on a better schedule for myself...and that will also help me physically feel better than i have been.

Breakfast: nothing

1pm:
roasted red pepper soup (gardeney) with prawns (i always keep frozen prawns in my freezer, so handy)
1 piece of low fat flat bread (110 calories for a piece, quite good)
Tea and water

I have to do a bunch of running around today, so im bringing some fruit and some cottage cheese with me

Ill be working for a few hours this evening from 5pm - 8 pm, Im going to pick up a salad to have there so i dont stop at a fast food place on the way home.*not that i need to be hungry to eat fast food, but it does keep my mind on a healthy route if i make healthy choices through my entire day*

I may have some chicken breast and salad when i get home, or i will wake up starving and will want to binge at 4 am, which is not good.

So, that is the plan for today... Hopefully it goes that way

Sounds like a plan Stan - if you can - figure out us and walking a couple nights a week - Im gettin lazy with the walking and Taneesha loves it - LOL _ I will email you now - I have a few mins - I cant remeber what accoutn I gave you for email - scariestuff ??? LOL - or justchickies - I dont really use scariestuff - anyway Im rambling on and on - Im sooo exhausted - You once suggested Friday nights for walking I thought that was a great idea - let me know...
 
I could go fridays after work, which means i wouldnt get back till 8:30pm. Would that be too late for Taneesha? Im free Sunday nights as well. Dan might want to come...I dont know if that would be a problem with you, He loves to walk. Or, Saturday during the morning or early afternoon, we could head down to Bear creek park or the beach and walk there. Ok Your turn for ideas..lol

Editted to say one more thing - Starting on the 31 of March Taneesha dn I are going to go to Parent and Preschool Place soooo - that will be from 930 - 1100 I believe and then I will be fre after that - I will start walking at the beach agian afterwards

Saturdays are really good for me so that would be a good day to go walking for sure. :)

Its just after 1am, I had fun tonight, went out with Dan for the whole day and then we ended up at a Karaoke bar. lol. Silly, but fun. I really needed a night out where i could laugh and be silly.

Breakfast *not much of one*
1/2 pear and 1 cup tea with milk and honey

Lunch:
Out for sushi with Dan
-agadashi tofu (shared)
-salmon roll
-dynamite roll
-salad roll
-miso soup
-green tea and water

Snack
- carrot cake and coffee

Dinner
- chicken breast burger without the bun
- tossed salad, dressing on the side
- soda water
- bottled water

Im on a fast now until tomorrow late morning so i can get bloodwork done.

Ive had a somewhat healthy day today as with regards to what i have eaten. Some good choices... some...lol..well.. wee bit indulgent choices.

Breakfast - cottage cheese and a banana

Snack - 2 cookies

Lunch - 3 chicken tenders and fries, water

Snack - pear, coke zero

Dinner- veggie burger with salad, water

Hershie kiss x 3

Exercise -*yes i actually did some*
Just over a mile walk with Cerella... Nice thing to do when you can chat away, goes much faster and doesnt really seem like a chore at all
:) Actually, i feel good about it also because i had done almost an 11 hour shift, and i was so tired, but i was amazed at how much more energy i had after exercising. *thanks Cerella*

Anytime Michelle I really enjoyed it and I was proud of you as well and your always so great abt me having Taneesha with me...especially walkin though - she is my muscel - I dont liek to walk wihtout her...I really wish we could walk regularly...Im game for whatever you are and Dan is always welcome as well - I might need you to email me that website and such...might be faster than me actually finding that paper...LOL ...but just beware last tiem I went to the beach it really fucked me up...that was our place...we went there all the time and tlaked all our problems out there and figure life out there - it obviously didnt do much good - I remeber after he had left me we went out to talk and he brought me there - I remeber standing on the beach crying and him holding me ... *SIGH* we also concieved Taneesha there :O LOL...
