Yesterday's eating diary

Breakfast:
2 egg omelet with asparagus and mushrooms
topped with medium hot salsa
1 pear

Snack:
a handfull of almonds
apple

Lunch:
Seafood melt 2 pieces (chopped imitation crab, green onion, diced green pepper and celery, low fat cream cheese, garlic and onion spice..mixed) put on 2 slices of toast open faced toped with 1.5 ounces lite aged cheddar finely grated

Green salad

Dinner:
We ordered chinese food at work
-1 spring roll
-shrimp fried rice
- bok choy
- black bean beef

Snack (it was late, but i was hungry once i got home)
1 serving of prawns (I keep the cooked ones in the freezer)
defrosted and warmed a little...no sauce
*much better than going through a drive thru on my way home.

Well, its been a weekend of eating out and doing very little cooking. I did try to really watch what my choices were though. Saturday i was out all day because my car was being fixed, Dan and i went for breakfast then that night it was my friends birthday dinner, but i did make good choices and I didnt have dessert. Yesterday we went out for sushi for lunch..we did share an agadashi tofu, which is fried...and then of course easter dinner.
Luckily my friend make tonns of different types of veggies to go with the turkey, cuz she knows im watching what im eating and she had fruit with yogurt as dessert...*i just love her* My dad wasnt impressed though..lol. I think whats really nice is that i didnt ask her to do this for me, she just did it cuz she said its good for me, and good for her and her family. It was a good weekend. I know i ate more than i should, but i also made some good choices.

Thanks jelly belly, she really is a great friend. Im trying hard to drink that water...lol..I have the craziest looking water bottle, so you definately cant miss it...lol..but hey..whatever it takes!

Such a busy week this week!!! Was hard for me to get the energy to come on line and post but i have a few minutes right now so i thought i better update my diary.
I had a few blips this week because we had a staff meeting and there were way to many goodies there, and I worked two jobs two days in a row i didnt make the best choices for myself because of lack of planning. Yesterday wasnt too bad though...

Yesterday:
Breakast:
scrabmled eggs and toast
banana
water

Lunch:
Tossed salad with prawns and low fat fetta

Snack:
cantelope and honey dew melon
handfull of smarties (oops)

Dinner:
fish (red snapper) seasoned with garlic, onion and dill
oven baked sweet potato
tossed salad
Water
diet pepsi

 
I'm glad you're getting some medical help with this, and you're making awesome choices while you're so busy. Thanks for encouraging me the other day and I hope I can return the favour. It must be a relief to see those binge urges fade.

Hey Kelly, thanks for stopping in...lol..i should have made tea. I am seeing some good changes..it will be a long road though, but with support its not such a bumpy one. I think you are a very encouraging person.

Today was pretty good for me as far as food goes..lol

cottage cheese
water

Snack:
small apple and a piece of cheese

Lunch:
salmon fillet
Tossed salad with low fat aged cheddar *1 1/2 oz grated, 1 diced pear in salad
whole wheat roll
Water

Dinner:
Beef and mixed pepper stirfry on yolk free noodles
diet pepsi
water

Snack:
2 cookies and more water
 
Hey you - Im gonna tape my dreams on ballooons and release them at the park - I wanna do this with you..to me you symbolize the new adn the good - your positivity and support have helped me out alot...this is somethign i would like to do with you...

oh and the cards - you will have to get back to me on that one...let me know if you still wanna do it and when...I will see yout omorrow at 1130 :D:D:D

I am so touched by what you said..thank you. I would love to be part of that exciting release of the old. As for the cards..absolutely, we just have to make a date for it.
