Sasse's Weight Loss Diary

I always have a hard time gettin up...hahaha...unfortunately its gotta be done...I dunno abt walking I walk in parks in day light but i was thinking the Bear Creek Park area would be nice...like 84...it is slightly hilly and lots of lights :) where do you usually walk...

To be honest, I dont do very much public walking, Im ususally on a treadmill at the gym. I got hassled by a carload of teens once, while out on a walk. They followed me the entire way shouting fat jokes. I didnt have my cell on me (stupid) so i stopped at a house where there was a guy working on his car and asked him to phone 911 (basically to scare them off). They of course took off, and i knew they would. I havent walked alone since.
Dan and i have walked the water shed, which is a beautiful walk which is good only for the day time, but it really is nice. I dont know if you want to travel far, but...every so often we could do white rock beach, its well lit at night and tons of people go there in the evening to walk. Is bear creek lit up at night? never been there to walk..Ill look out for something..lol

Daily totals
Breakfast:
-1 large cup tea with non fat milk and splenda
-1 cup honey dew melon
-3/4 cup cottage cheese

Water

Lunch:
-6oz trout
-1/2 cup rice
-1 red pear
water

2pm:
small fries
toffee coffee drinky thingy (240cals) and well worth it
The fries i definately could have lived without

Dinner:
-terriyaki pork loin on couscous with carrots, peppers, zucchini and mushrooms.

9pm:
-cheese stick (80cals)
- 10 non fat pretzles
water

Todays Totals: thought id plug this in before i go pass out in my bed..lol

Breakfast:*at work at 7am*
-1 cup tea, milk and splenda
-1 small low fat homemade muffin *thanks to our lovely overnight staff that is on a health kick.
-1/2 cup cottage cheese
-1 red pear

Lunch (we took two of our guys out for lunch today)
-veggie burger, (no mayo)
-lettuce, tomato, mustard and onion
-Tossed salad with blue cheese dressing on the side (I only dipped my fork in it, used very little..was tough though..lol
large diet coke with lime

2pm- yerba matte with honey

5pm-pear and one once of cheese (low fat), water

Went to my second job for 3 hrs...drank lot of water there cuz i was getting pretty hungry by 7:30pm

Dinner: at home 8:30pm (loooooong day)
-chicken breast
-coleslaw with my homemade dressing,
*pre-shredded cabbage, diced apple, cilantro, pumpkin seeds and almonds
-1 small oven baked sweet potato
More water
Tea
Whew!!! im going to bed.

I love white rock too, and i think it would be pretty safe. I hope you had a great workout at bootcamp. As for the assholes...lol..as you put it... thank you for your support,... As i get older, It bothers me less and less that there are people that just cannot accept me the way I am. Maybe its getting to be ok with me cuz i think it would suck to be them too..lol..I can lose the fat, but can they lose their inner ugliness?
Give me curves with a good attitude anyday!

it always shocks me to hear that people can be so horrible. i can't believe it. they're extremely ugly, and its gonna show on their phiysique one day...sometimes i just believe in karma.
everytime i read your diary i get this urge to go to kitchen and cook. you really have wonderful menus. don't understand some of it, but i'll try google it lol or look it up in the dictionary.

Well said...I feel sorry for people like that, our weight we can loose...their uglyiness as you put it (cute) will remain...

As far not caring what people think of you and it bothering you less and less, I hear ya there...I had my first daughter at 16...I turned 16 in April she was born in July...anyway I went through alot of prejudgement and shit most of my life, I care very little abt what insicnificant people think abt me...my tough exterior was built when I was young, matter of servival I guess, and it is hard to break...I dont really allow alot of people close or in...anyway...

Also the track at Bear Creek Park is lit and there is also a track at Holy Cross High School that is lit but im totally cool with White Rock...Talk to ya soon...Hope you had a good sleep and rest...Im patiently waiting for hte weekend, I need some serious sleep, lol

Oh i had another thought as well...on Sats adn Suns I got out with my youngest...so play group and art calss end at 1200 so around 1230 1245 ish we go and walk at Cresent Beach if the wether permits...just a thought if you are ever interested ...

Hi there Cerella, So sorry it took this long to get back to you. Last night i was just wiped out after work. I crashed big time, tried to sleep in a little and then had another busy day. Weekends are a definate good idea and so are the other places you suggested. Ive never walked the track at bear creek park, but i heard its a good one. Im going away sat and sun for a girls weekend. *yay* and Ill be back monday some time. This month is a little crazy for me because Next weekend im celebrating my B-Day..*ugg* and then the weekend after is me and Daniel's 4th anniversary. I Hope you get a chance to catch up on some sleep...it sounds like you need a little shut eye. Talk soon

Hi lena, thanks for visiting my diary. I know what you mean about how shocking people's behavior can be. I do believe that stuff will come back and bite them in their asses though..lol

lol..not even sure if thats really how one would type a drum roll.

Yesterday *thursday* started off good... and then crashed in a ball of fire. *not that im dramatic or anything..
Slept in... had cottage cheese and fruit salad.
Snack:tea, splenda and milk, piece of cheese and and apple
Lunch: Chicken strips and fries from wendy's bottle of water
Snack: 3 chocolate chip cookies still warm from the oven... damn
Dinner: fish, rice, green beans and a pear

10pm, met my friend for "coffee" ended up sharing calemari and cheese bread and chicken wings. I wasnt even hungry and I felt sick, sick sick after.
Ended up with terrible heart burn all night.
So...lol..i had a good burning reminder of why i shouldnt do that.


Today's diary
Breakfast: Soy protein shake with strawberries, flax, udo's oil and a touch of splenda

Lunch: out with friend
Gyoza soup and a tuna roll, large water and green tea

Snack: crab from the fish store *they cook it fresh every friday* yum
an apple, bottle of water

Dinner: Dan made me a large salad and a spinach and chicken melt
He did good!
1 small lemon (no sugar added) yogurt.
small roll, bottle of water, diet coke

Hey you...no need to apologize...geeesh...my week has been a little crazy also...this is the first week my boss is gone and I tell ya...I am caring the work load of two with casual help...it is alot, lets see I only have another 6 -7 weeks to go lol!!! Yes i need sleep I actually decided to skip boot camp this am and sleep in, well guess what it is 630 am Ive been up for 30 mins so I will go to boot camp...lol...I have gotten sick which really sucks I was a pretty hurtin unit yesturday...and had a crazy work day - left here at 8 and home at 6 ... the crazy thing is I didnt have to stop- at the bosses or pick up the little one, if I had to do those things it would have been like a 7-730 night and hten I had to go out after dinner with my aunt...I felt bad becuase I committed myself to go out with her...and then no one else would go and she didnt want to go alone so I got together the little amount of energy i had got dressed up and went out...it took all I had...lol...hope you have a great weekend!!!
 
Teenagers are the worse when it comes to picking on people...and I have found their parents are even more worse in a lot of cases. I am sorry that happened to you, but hopefully they will learn better when they get older and wiser.

You seem to be doing really good with changing your eating habits. Keep up the good work!
 
Im baaaaaaaaaaaaack from my girls weekend. It was a good get away for me. I think i needed the break. We didnt make the best food and drink choices..lol..but they were not aweful either. My biggest indulgence was when we went to the Copper Room for dinner. Ill be on a budget for a while for that one, but..i figured it was our Birthdays..and what the heck!. Lisa turned 40 and i turned 37. We had an amazing waiter that was so funny and charming. We both had dessert to die for. Im not a huge dessert person, but..these were very good.
So...I may not have had perfect caloric weekend, but i tell you, it really did wonders for my mental health, and it all goes hand in hand.
Nice to be back, though my 2 cats are mad at me...lol. I have to go give them some loving now, so that i will be forgiven. *rolling my eyes*

Hey you, glad to hear you are back safe adn sound and had fun..cals soundnt matter when we are having fun...LOL...only in my head hey...UM...if you are thinking abt startign twalking, evne though I am sick, I would love to try to go for one...I am not exercising at all, im not use to it...neither is my body...anyhoo glad you are back!!!

Awwwwwwww, thanks for the B-day wishes..Im actually 37 on Monday the 19th..so i still have a few days left of saying im 36..lol. I actually have no problem turning 37...We will see how i feel when i turn 40..lol
