Home sick today from work.... day two actually, though i think im feeling better. Not quite so many body aches and pains.
Got up and had a 2 egg omelet with mushrooms and asparagus...not drinking enough though...need to catch up on that today
 
Menu is looking good however :D:D:D I hope you feel better soon :):):) If I can do anyhtign let me know

Im trying to be good with my food... much easier when im not feeling great...lol
Thanks for the offer of help, im ok..just need to get some rest... ( i do realize its almost 2 am as i say this...lol. Ill talk to you soon.

Today i did ok with eating despite not feeling great.
as mentioned before i had an omelet for breakfast

Lunch: roasted red pepper soup (from a box) its good though... and some tea and water

Dinner:
more tea, more water... Dan tried to get me to drink some ginger creation of his that he swore would make me feel better...blechy..yucky..dont think so

We had 2 chicken drum sticks... with a smoked paprika garlic rub, and fridge salad ( everything that was in the fridge went in the salad)
Dan was trying to shock my body with vitamins...lol...he is a good guy

snack... cough syrup with topped with a couple advil..and some herbal tea

Now..back to bed...even if i cant sleep, i can get some rest

If my kids made you sick Im sorry - Taneesha has been fighting something and I guess she passed it on to you...:hug2: Are you working today or off again ? Im just curious but I guess if you feel crappy your better off to not be at work and make everyone else sick as well...

Oh and Im working on Saturday and leaving on Saturday to go to the Island for a few days...so I either cant walk on Saturday or I can but we just gotta meet early - LOL...as soon as I am done work I will catch the next ferry I can...I will prob aim for the 5...

I also wanted to say that I think your body needs a break - you go go go all the time - I thought I was bad but you keep up to me pretty well just minus the kids...I think you are needing to just kinda lazy around and rest...
 
Hey Cerella, I didnt end up coming on here last night...was feeling too tired. I dont blame Taneesha for getting me sick...lol...I could have picked it up anywhere. Actually one of the people I look after is sick as well...so it was more than likely them that shared their germs... so generous... Its ok if we skip Saturday..we can resume when you get home. I may actually go to the gym (oooooo...ahhhhhhh) depends on how im feeling. Yesterday went ok cuz it was fairly relaxed...i slept in the passanger seat of the van most of the time..lol. Today is my last day, so...ill just take it easy.

I have to learn how not burn my candle at both ends... :)

As far as burnign the candles - girl I know - LOL - Im the single mom with two kids and soon two full time jobs - I got an offer I dont think I can refuse...

Thank goodness im not the only one that drives that beast..lol. We all take turns. Im very excited about the job offer for you.... as long as you take care of YOU while doing it
 
Today was a ME day, which i totally enjoyed. Had my nails done in the morning, met a friend for lunch then we went and wandered around the mall and had a coffee together... I worked for a few hours in the evening and came home and made myself a nice dinner.

Breakfast:
pear and cottage cheese

Lunch:
Caesar salad
individual veggie pizza

Dinner:
Salmon fillet
polenta, oven baked with tomatoes and light mozza

Drank lots of water and tea today
 
Im glad you had a good day :) Looking forward to breaky tomorrow - so i talked to John briefly this evenign but he didnt phase me - he is back on block and delete...he cant hurt me anymore and he tried hard but nothign worked - I am free and happy and moving on - Im proud of me!!!
 
This week has been pretty busy for me so i havent been as focused as i should have been. I havent done BAD so to speak, just..not really paying attention. I think im FINALLY over that flipping flu I battled for over a week. I got up early and went for a walk in the park...which is REALLY a milestone for me, because i hate walking alone. Seemed to take much longer than when i walk with Cerella...lol. We talk so much, the time flies by. Im proud of myself though.
Breakfast:
1 cup oatmeal with flax added. Blueberry protein shake

Lunch:
whole wheat pizza shell topped with roasted red peppers, onions, spinach and light goat cheese. (2 slices = 400 cals)

Dinner:
Went out with my friend for Greek food
had 2 chicken souvlaki skewers, greek salad, i switched my rice and potato for more veggies, and had 1/2 a pita
One B52 coffee. *yum*
 
some yummy food you got there. and yay for walking alone. just keep it going :) the more you go alone the less you will have excuses to avoid it. just put some music on or start focusing on yourself...just say its some michelle time and you can be alone with your thoughts. i didn't like walking before, but now....i really like it, its really fulfilling.

Thanks so much lena, I found it really hard, but im glad i did it. i would still not rather do it alone,lol..but i will work on it.

Well we will still walk on our Tues and Sats for sure :):):) I might just be alittle more tired but we still will and I wanna start going to the gym also :):):) Anyway maybe we can hook up at some point -Im a little busy but would love to see you...maybe tomorrow after work for a coffee or somethign - your call :):):)
