Just wondering how the rest of your day went...Mine was long as I was thinking abt how long it was and such I thought at you :)

OH my goodness Cerella, yesterday just seemed to never end..lol I was sooooooo tired. but it ended good, Dan came over and brought sushi, i gave him his birthday gift and we both dozed on the couch...lol. such a fun exciting couple we are!..lol

Aaawww your a very loving couple...that is sweet that he drop over sushi - yesturday seemed looong and slow to me...lol...today was a bit better but still busy and cramped same with tomorrow...*UGH* LOL

Thats a very nice thing for you to say..its easy to be loving with Dan..lol..he is a doll. Ill bet you are glad its the weekend!!!..lol you have had a crazy week

I was too tired to post last night..i went to a concert with Dan for his Birthday..it was fun but when i got home i was pooped. I had not eaten, and I was going to go get something from a drive thru or order pizza..lol.. but i didnt. I made a dish of low fat crackers, cheese, roasted red peppers and pickles.. better than a burger and fries. Fell asleep on the couch and woke up with my cats laying on top of me... I was dreaming that i was stuck under a really hot and heavy quilt.. Milo who was alseep on my shoulder ended up drooling all over my neck while we were all asleep..lol..so gross. Anyways..finally dragged myself into bed at 4 30am and had a decent sleep.

Breakfast:
3/4 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup strawberries,
1/2 cup blueberries and a handfull of almonds
water 500mls

Lunch
seafood pasta (out for lunch with a friend) Starter caesar salad
*all too high in fat, but very good*
2 cups tea

Snack*
apple and a cheese stick
grande chai latte on ice
500 ml water

Dinner*
500 ml water
1 cup diet coke
Chicken breast with rosemary, garlic and lemon.. grilled on my panini press. Asparagus (wrapped in foil and also done on the press)
1 cup quinoa cooked in low sodium chicken broth
1 tsp butter on the asparagus
1 bottle coors lite :D

Im just taking a few minutes to post on here before i go for my walk. I bought a book on stretching and this morning i got up and did some of those exercises. They felt really good, so im going to try to do them every morning. Im really having to force myself to drink the water lately, not really sure why, because im liking my water. I just need to really remind myself

Breakfast: 1 lrg glass of water
3 egg whites scrambled with 1/2 oz grated medium gouda
1 pear

No idea what im having for the rest of the day..lol
I may take a trip to the veggie market

Ive had a very busy weekend...Ive not made all of the best food choices, but for the most part, i did pretty well. Daniel and I went to Grandville Island today..it was raining but very beautiful there. We had lunch *chicken taco salad with no sour cream and a bottle of water* and then we just did a lot of browsing through all of the shops. They have a fantastic local market there, so we bought some veggies, fruit and some really nice chicken. Before leaving we both had an evil, bad, nasty yet wonderfully naughty dessert of puff pastry balls filled with cream and topped with dark chocolate.... so worth it!..lol
Tonight when we got home, I made us oven roasted chicken breasts, new potatoes, baby onions, garlic, carrots and kholrabi (probably spelled wrong) It all turned out pretty good, and was in one dish...even better cuz i really hate doing dishes..lol

what concert did you go to?

it sounds like you get out and do lots of fun stuff!

Hi cshani, we try to get out to do different things, doesnt always work out though..we do have many video nights too...lol
We went to Shivkumar sharma *santoor instrument and Zakir Hussain *tabla instrument. Basically two musicians from India who are legends both here and there. They were just breath taking. My boyfriend is really into that music, so a group of us all went for his birthday. They played for 3 hours with only a 15 min break... i got tired just watching them...lol

lol... i know that ive left my dishes too long, when i walk in the door and they offer to re - heat themselves up for dinner..

I have not been able to come into the WLF nearly as much as i would have liked to this week. Been crazy all around... my dad is in a care home facillity and he has been very confused this week and he has been sad. This left me feeling a bit down, and i ate more than i should have. Im feeling better though cuz today was really a great day at work, and the people i support there were fun to be around. It was a good way to end my week.

Starting Fresh

Starting fresh is what I feel that I really need to do. My emotions and my eating have been swaying back and forth from being in control to being in a whirlwind of eating. I was feeling quite under the weather today and so I didnt go to work. I thought a lot about how im feeling with myself, my weight goals, my struggles and my successes. I think i have been not paying enough attention to what i need to be doing. The exercising needs to increase and the eating needs to be more monitored. I know WHAT to do...its just that i dont always follow that path. It is so silly because i really do enjoy eating well and cooking in ways that are healthy...so I dont know why I allow myself to crash so easily. Well...sometimes i know why, but there are times when there is just no excuse.
 
Starting fresh

Im starting to create a menu for myself again. I found that when i used to do that, and shopped for what i had planned that week...I had more success. I have just finished doing menues for my work that had to follow the new Canada food guide and then had to be approved by a licensing nutritionist. The menues got a big thumbs up and it kind of got me back into the swing of thinking that way. Having two jobs, my life is a bit hectic, so im doing a few things to make it all easier for me.
Today i baked a whole bunch of meatballs made of extra lean beef, grated carrots, zucchini, celery and onions. I added breadcrumbs, ground flax seed, oats and spices. I threw all of the meatballs in a freezer bag and so i can just grab a servings worth when i feel i have as much time to cook.
Im going to go through my cupbords tonight and get rid of some temptations as well...maybe not tonight, cuz im feeling crappy, but possibly tomorrow
I will work on my menu plans though

Today for Breakfast:
3/4 cup oatmeal with 1 sliced small banana
1 whole egg and 1 egg white- scrambled


Lunch
Tea with honey and milk
2 cups of asparagus soup *from a box - 160 calories*
1 cup asparagus chopped into soup
1 1/4 ounces grated cheddar (in soup)
2 pieces whole grain toast

Dinner
coke zero
5 small meatballs
2 new potatoes *3/4 cup
1 cup snap peas

1 non fat yogurt parfait thingy..lol
