You're right about the snacking, it's actually really hard for me to get drunk and avoid the takeaway especially now I can order it online so easily, it takes mere moments to bring up a website, order your meal and type in your card details and have 2000 calories of pizza or kebab winging its way to your front door. In the end I realised I couldn't really rely on myself in a drunken state to avoid that stuff, at least not reliably, so I cut out the drinking (for the most part) and that's just the best solution while I drop the last 12lbs.
It's good to come out of the other side of a dysfunctional relationship and start to be happy again, It didn't pay that much of a toll on my weight I think my lowest before everything started going wrong was 182 and my highest after that was up to 195, now I'm back to 180 so it was relatively minor damage. It's so awesome to be close to the 170's, I can't wait to see the scales read 17x.xx
You're right about body fat percentage, I think I'll have a lot of work to do once I've hit my target weight, in terms of putting back on some muscle, I intend to do some weights and eat a high protein diet for a while to try and balance everything out, it may require a 2nd diet for a short period of time once that's over with.
