Sam's from Chunk to Hunk Journal :)

I'm planning on putting some pics up probably in Jan. I have some befores that people are going to need barf bags for, lol.

-Sam

Barf bags my ass! hahaaa! OOoOh I'm so looking forward to it. So don't go posting it until I'm back from Hawaii (January 11th) so I can be the first to post something. hahaaa! jk Well, honey.. I'm out of here for Hawaii Tuesday and won't be on the forum for the next month, but you just keep up with your plan and when I get back, I'm sure you're going to be even deadlier hot! Enjoy the holidays, angel.

-Sheryl

PS I'm soooo excited, because I get to return
to being "Ms Fag Hag" on my old stomping
grounds! HAHAA!

Barf bags?! I think not!!!

I can't wait to see your handsome pictures!

And congrats on a great leg workout! You are doing sooo well! :)

I can't wait to see pics! We need some good before and after shots so we can shower you with compliments about the amazing progress you've made. :D

You guys are so nice :)

I wasn't compliment fishing, I swear. I just think that my befores are pretty jacked. It will be nice to have a comparison though. Thanks for all the kind words.

Didn't make it to they gym today. I know, I know. Work conflict, along with warm bed conflict. I am getting to Costco though, so I can fill my fridge with healthy foods for sure!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hey all.

Made it to the gym this morning. I did my chest/back routine with my trainer. We were going to do my new core workout but, he said Friday would be better because he didn't have his stopwatch or something...

The new chest/back routine is hard!!!!! Here's what I can remember of it without the actual written down copy I keep at the gym.

Butterfly 20lb dumbells 3x25
Decline Chest Press 75lbs (I think) 3x25
Front Row? for Back 45lb plate ( I think) 3x25
Shoulder shrug machine thing, with 35lbs on each side, 3x25
Assisted pullups for back, pyrmaid 15,12,10
Incline Chest Press on Smith Machine (can't remember wt.) 3x25

I feel like I am missing one but you can get the idea from that. I need to invest in some gym gloves or something, this routine is going to really tear up my hands... I don't get to see my trainer again until Friday, he had to cancel our usual Thursday due to the fact he has a dr's appt. (he might have torn his rotater cuff in his shoulder :( ) I am still going to try and make it tomorrow and thursday in the meantime.

Been eating alright. Someone brought in some oreo cake shit upstairs here at work and you know i had to try a little. I just had a little piece. I guess it was worth it. The holidays are so hard to try to be strict on your eating, it seems everywhere you turn someone has made something good. I'm trying hard to refrain but sometimes it's hard. That's why I gotta make it an absolute to get to the damn gym!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great day:)

-Sam

Definitely get yourself some gloves. Once your hands start blistering, it's a shitty time. That routine sounds tough! But it also sounds like it would make you feel really good afterward.

Resist the workplace junkfood! Force your healthy eating habits on your co-workers by bringing in a fruit salad. :D

Sounds like as a reward to yourself for sticking with the workout program & keeping the noshing to a minimum you deserve to treat yourself to the gloves.

Nice work.

...I busted my ass cleaning the house, but I think your work out certainly beats mine! :D

Hey guys....

Missed the gym today. I'm too sore and tired to care though, lol

I am still pretty sore from my workout on Tues. I did make it to the gym yesterday though. I ran 3.5 miles and felt great afterward, then went to a hockey game. My first one!!! It was fun but our team lost.

I then went home and fell asleep at 10:30pm. I was so pooped from running, and I had a couple beers at the game that it just knocked me out as soon as I sat on my bed.

Hope everyone is having a good day. I'm stuck at work until 10pm.......

-Sam

Hey everybody!!!

I'm back. I hit the gym this morning. My trainer measured me and weighed me. I've been kind of floating around 215 lately, I know a lot of it is due to my diet... I was 216.5lbs. Not too bad, I guess. My bf has only dropped
.3% though. I'm a little disappointed about that. I have lost a few more inches. My chest is down to 41'', which I think it was like 45 or something when I first started, and my waist is down to 37'', which I'm pleased about.

After he measured and weighed me, we did Plyometrics:( It's very tough. Then I did some cardio. Pretty boring.

Trying to get ready for Xmas. Got most of my shopping done finally. Meals this week are going to suck, so I got to make sure I get to the gym. I decided I don't think I can lose weight during the holidays, so I'm just going to try to break even or maintain for now. I've worked too hard this year to not enjoy the holidays, at least I think....

Have a great day!

-Sam:)

"maintain, don't gain" is my motto.

nice work on the lost inches! I think that counts more in my book than pounds, more noticeable.

Happy New Year Everybody!!!

So, here i am. The holidays were fun... Real fun. I ate my ass off and now I need to get back on track. I really wish I could get to the gym today but I'm stuck at work for most of the day, and all of tomorrow as well. I have my trainer on Thursday, and then it's my B-day on Friday! I plan on working out both of those days, and probably Saturday too.

I bought a bench to have at my house, a weight bench that can adjust so it's in decline, incline, flat, etc. and I'm going to buy some more dumbells. I think having those near me will get me more in the mood to do them. There are so many exercises you can do with a bench and some dumbells. I need to get back into hardcore workout mode pretty quick. I haven't been losing and I'm afraid to get on the scale to see all the damage I've done during these couple weeks of holidays.... I still have my trainer for about 3months twice per week, and I want to accomplish as much as I can in that time, then hopefully be at a point where I can keep it up and proceed after that.

I will post some before and afters. Probably in Feb or March. I've been delaying and delaying but I want them to show a nice difference :)

Hope everyone had a great holiday:)

-Sam

It's great to see you back around here, handsome! :)

I think we all did a little damage during the holidays (I know I did!), but it won't take long to get back on track!

Congrats on the weight bench. Don't sweat the holiday gain... I think we all went a bit over board. Most important thing is we are getting back on track & sticking with it.

Good luck & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hey all. Made it to the gym today. I did some plyometrics with my trainer ( I told him to go easy on me because tomorrow is my b-day, lol) I guess he did... I also ran some on the treadmill too. Food wise I haven't done too bad, but, I haven't eaten enough meals today either. I have to start working on that, plus my trainer is making me start up my food journal again, so it will all work out.

Stuck at work right now... I have worked a ton this week and am so burnt out on work. I can't wait to have a day off tomorrow. I don't really have any plans for my b-day yet. Its okay because whenever i do have plans they are usually last minute anyways, so i'm expecting some to come along:)

Hope everyone is having a great day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOT STUFF!! good to see your still plugging hard at it and going to the gym. Look at all that weight you have lost, OH YEAH!!! Your doing Wonderful! Keep up the great work!

Hey Errbody!

My birthday was pretty good. It was actually tamer than I thought it would be, lol. My friends took me out to dinner, chinese food at Sampan (it was really good and we shared a lot of food, some healthy and some not so healthy:) ) I also had a big glass of wine and two shots of sake :cheers2:

Then we went back to my friend's house and played games. I love to play games! We played Apples to Apples, Taboo, and Buzzword, and Catchphrase...

It was a blast. Even though I do like to go out to the bar and party and stuff (try not to do it that so much anymore...) I do enjoy nights like this when I'm just hanging with some of my closest friends and we play games and sit around and chat and stuff. It's funny, they all have kids now. Kids are so crazy. It's amazing to watch a kid learn and develop before your very eyes. In this particular group of friends, three of my female friends were all pregnant at the same time, so now there are three boys around the same age (1.5 yrs), and it is fun to watch them interact and play with each other. Its also crazy to see my friends who I've been friend's with since elementary school be parents and try to discipline their kids. We're all around 25 years old now and it just really hits home this year that we are grown up. We're adults, some of us married with families, some of us graduated from college, some of us not :).......

For some reason 25 is kind of hitting me hard, lol. I know some people who read this are going to probably give me shit for saying that but hey, it's all relative right? hehe

Back on the wagon for the diet today though. I have healthy groceries and I am finally eating them. I didn't make it to the gym today because I was trying to sleep and rest because I have to work overnight tonite.

For my birthday I bought myself a lot of stuff that i have been needing for awhile: some new gym clothes, new socks, new running shoes (Asics), weight lifting gloves for the gym, the weight bench, dumbbells 5lb, 12lb, and 20lb) Also, my friends all chipped in and got me an Ihome for my Ipod and took me out to Sampan,... of course:)

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Thanks for the B-day wishes. It means a lot to me that I have connected with some great people on here. I just know 2008 is going to great.

-Sam
