Rox has lost 62 pounds....so far!

I'm also motivated because...I sort of have a boyfriend now.
Which is CRAZY.
But really fun.
He knows I'm married...but he's divorced and really wants to get together with me.
LOL good for you Rox, you deserve a bit of fun. I can't believe how far you have come emotionally in just a couple of months. :D

You're nice to say that.

When I get to my goal, I'll post more photos. And I think they'll be a little more revealing. I'll give the thread one of those "caution: traumatic underwear pics" warnings and get daring!

I have a very hard time thinking they will be traumatic at all :)

Thanks, Val.
You are someone who really knows what I've been through- so coming from you it means lots. I do feel that I've really changed....all for the better!

DAMN girl, you look GREAT!

i'm a 21-year-old straight female and... wow... even i can't take my eyes off of you!

great work, keep it up!

Thanks so much! That's one of the best compliments I've ever gotten- you're so sweet!

I am indeed keeping up my efforts... by goal I plan to look completely hot! I'm down another few pounds today and am nearly into the 140's!
And I've added in a daily session of a good fitness dvd: "The 30 Day Shred". It's very intense, with intervals of cardio and weights. I'm only on day three and I'd almost swear I can already see a difference!

I'm officially in the 140's today!!
149.4 lbs...
I can hardly believe it!
I'm only about 5lbs away from my goal weight. I really think this dvd i'm working out to daily is what is making my progress to my goal possible. Before this, I was eating right, but downwards progress was sooooooo slow. i pretty much thought I'd make my goal by Decemeber. Now it looks like it will happen in Novemeber... And when I hit it, I am SO posting some cute photos here!!
I can hardly wait!

Wow! Great work. You're very inspiring. It is nice great to see someone who has been through troubling times, pull through and keep focused on their goal! Kudos to you and hopefully I'll be able to do the same!

Focusing on my goals has really helped keep me sane through all this. That and my four lovely children....

I'm within 4lbs of goal as of today. I'm really looking forward to posting my final "before and after" pics! Maybe by the end of the month...or early December at the lastest. So exciting!

Rox - your transformation is fantastic. I agree -the haircut really looks good on you too.

Thanks so much!
Short hair is starting to become very trendy here in France...but few women are wearing it as short as I am. It's awfully severe...but it makes me feel stronger, somehow- like I don't need to hide behind anything anymore. Does that make sense?

*update*

I just thought I'd take the time at the start of the new year to update a bit....
I'm still not down to my goal weight...but I've been losing inches through exercise. I think that looking (and feeling) good is even better than numbers on a scale...so I'm not discouraged. But I'm still shooting for 144 lbs in 2011!

The first photo is from April of 2009. I was in Paris and I remember how sad I was because I had nothing nice to wear...and it wouldn't have looked good, even if i had... That's how I felt, anyway.

The second photo is from yesterday. The skirt is a size 38 (8 in US sizing) that I just bought last week. I couldn't resist. I love wearing short skirts now..even though it's winter and pretty cold up here in the mountains. lol!

The third photo is from October 2007.
The last one is from a few days ago. I'm wearing another favorite outfit of mine...

So...a few changes have happened over the past eight months or so....

As for the holidays- I've had a few treats , but no out-of-control eating whatsoever. Just the occasional chocolate or glass of champagne.

And tonight is New Year's Eve. I've got a new dress to wear (of course!) and am looking forward to dressing up and dancing all night!

I hope everyone out there has a great time tonight and then goes on to have a fun and healthy 2011!
