Thats so true about an on-line journal. I have tried diaries the traditional way, but end up ripping out pages, or giving up. The motivation with this is good, because you can catch up with others and read interesting stuff, so I'm more likely to stick with this. BTW I meant to tell you I lurve your quote about being loyal. Pity more people don't live by that.

I was just checking out your food diary and I was wondering what a Space food stick was? I just might be too Canadian to understand.

About the smoking I am a former smoker. When I quit smoking I was 185lbs and I turned to food instead of my cancer sticks. I ended up gaining 50lbs then I decided to get pregnant and gained another 50lbs.

I have quit smoking for over 6 years now and I still have the urge to smoke every now and again. I do believe it is a constant fight as is getting my weight under control, although I don't often think of cigarretts nearly as often as I do about food.

You certainly sound like you are on the right track and doing so well.

Went grocery shopping yesterday and guess what I'm making for my lunch today.....that's right......a cucumber, tomato and onion sandwich. Although I may do mine on whole wheat pita bread because I'm trying not to eat loaf bread.

Yep I still feel like a cigarette from time to time, you no what I even forget sometimes that I have given up. I hate that it has such a hold over me still, but like they say all the good thing have to be fought for.

Thanks For the low down on the space sticks. They sound tasty and only 1 1/2 points. I like the sound of that.

I love mandarin oranges. Sadly we only get those in the winter around Christmas time. But I eat enough to make me sick of them until the following year.

Ok I went to lunch with a friend of mine and I had a steak sanga, it came with chips I ate ½ of the sandwich and about 4 chips and I was full…so yum though.
4 beers (well we did go to the pub)

Again hubby cooked for me he made me
Sweet and sour chicken low points
Rice and a salad …got to love him.
 
Jen space food sticks are one of my favorite things …BUT… I was sitting here at the computer the other day and Oprah was on the TV, they were talking about diets and food and what you should and shouldn’t be eating. They were talking about hydrogenated fats and how bad they are for you, Well what should be in the space food sticks but hydrogenated fats. It just makes me want to cry, looks like I won’t be eating them anymore.
I love mandarins as well yummy.
