Hey guys im still around, believe it or not im having a bit of hard time dealing with reaching my goal (getting under 100 kg) the whole fear of losing weight thing I think. I feel disappointed this week and I feel I should have lost more weight and I don’t know why I feel like that because 800 grams is great….. Who no’s what the hell is going on in my head because I sure don’t.
Hi patty thanks for the recipe Hun, I love cooking but had stopped doing it for about a year for fear of cooking the wrong things (to much fat ect) but I have got it all worked out now and im loving being back in the kitchen so if you find anymore recipes you would like to share I would love to have them. The only problem is we call our foods different thing lol so can you tell me what is Cilantro, thanks mate.
Hiya rosie. Thanks for checking in on me. I'm sorry you're struggling right now. Someone posted recently about the fear of losing weight. I think it was a whole list of reasons. Have you seen it?
Cilantro = Coriander. Actually here in parts of the US (maybe the South?) we call the seeds coriander and the leaves cilantro.
Another healthy dish. Whole canned pinto beans (or buy dry and follow the directions for soaking, control the salt better). Can rotel. Chopped red onion. Chopped cilantro. Mix and heat. Lots of fiber and protein, virtually no fat.
Another favorite. This is a cold dish. Course the problem is serving it with something healthy to dip it with. Can corn, drained. Can black beans (whole, not mashed), rinsed and drained. Can rotel. Maybe look for low sodium on all or rinse well. Chopped red onion. Cilantro, again! Optional: Chopped jalapeno (cut in half, use spoon to remove veins and seeds) or a dash of tabasco. Maybe a little cumin (spice) and some lime juice. Mix, chill, serve. Again, no added fat and plenty of fiber and some protein, getting in your veggies.
Both easy, easy, easy.
