Hey RJ, Making my rounds....

I hate ab workouts too. But I do them and you're right, in 2 years you'll thank yourself!

I don't know how you can do the circuit training. I tried it once or twice a long time ago and I was so beat afterwards. It's the same kind of feeling after a HIIT session. Maybe one day I'll substitute it with one of my cardio sessions.
 
I would comment on circuit training however I don't know what it is, I've never done it! The only circuit training I ever did was in PE class, and I liked it just because it wasn't sports or a ton of running. I hated sports because I was never really a part of it... being a chubby girl doesn't make people want to pass the ball to you :p
 
took a couple of days off, didn't go on a crazy binge or anything, for the most part i watched what i ate. wed i was jsut tire so i broke up my cardio sessions

worked on my car... no training.
had 2 mexican hotdogs with the works.
1 huge slice of pizza, 3 bottles of beer
and a mug of lite beer :)

today i went with a friend to emissions. he bought me 2 mexican hot dogs, and 2 bottles of soda.

i didnt even track calories or anything. today im back on normal routine

DAMN!!! another splurge! heh... my little cousins birthday party. according to my estimates i went 1300 calories over maintenance:eek:

but it was all in good fun... i havea feeling today is going to be similar, im sticking to my workout thismorning, adding a little time to prepare myself... eating mostly veggies this morning.
 
Splurges are ok every so often! As long as they don't become habit and permanent, lol. I'm definately splurging today for Easter lunch! WOO! Anyways, have a great Easter! Thanks for your comments in my diary about my pics :D
 
i'm just coming off a weekend of splurging! calories haven't been too high, but i've been eating nothing but junk, junk, junk!

woo hoo! i survived with minimal damage! I didnt really want to go in with a complete plan, i just knew what to avoid, and what was ok... i hovered around the veggies. so todays weigh in

2.8 lbs mondays are typically a high swing day, and we had a late meal. so it may not be so bad once everything is done.

so at least another week in the 290s im patient, collected, and focused. i will succeed
 
Yes, you WILL succeed, RJ. You're doing great, and hanging around the veggie trays is definitely the way to go.
 
I agree that you will succeed as well! I applaud you for hanging around the veggie tray... I know at our Easter lunch I didn't even go near those trays because I needed the room for everything else I shouldn't be eating ;) lol
 
Way to go RJ. I had the chance to go overboard last night but my family was supportive of my efforts and I finished Easter with my usual deficit.

You've got some momentum going already. Soon you'll be in the 280s.

peek a boo 280's?

Weighed myself today first thing in the morning, no water or anything in me :) wait... that sounds gross.. i mean i didnt drink any water upon wakening. so.. the number was 289.6. so its a peek into the 280's im sure that 2 glasses of water and im back in 290s but its refreshing to have met my mini goal! which was to get to 290 by april 30th
