Risty I'm sorry, no I'm not buying one, I was just agreeing that the expensive one is the better idea. ;) Anyways I'm excited that you're going to be in on the 1st! That is really soon, but it sounds like it's going to be a great change for you! :)

Good luck with moving and all *aaarrrggghhh*

I guess the treadmill is a good idea... but I'm still too lazy to give up the comfort of a good armchair while watching cSI (Vegas, NOT Miami...eeuurrgghh). It's great that you're in that zone.. And I agree with DeepGreen, you should see inch and weight loss pretty soon!
 
Hey, so I'm back and done moving. I HATE moving and hope to not have to do for a VERY long time.

About the treadmill, with moving I spent a lot of money. I bought 2 digital cable boxes.. AHH! Plus I had to buy a bookshelf and pantry (since I had to give my sis's husband back his bookshelf and we don't have a pantry here) AHH! And of course my sis's b-day present and I over did it, and my other sis's b-day present. Plus, I did buy some anime on ebay and amazon... AHH! So this month I spent enough to equal a bloody treadmill. Sooooo, I think I'll wait until next month to buy it. I might be able to buy on from this lady at work. She's an ultrasound tech and her hubby is a doctor and he bought her one which she's hardly used and she said it's a good one and she's give it to me for a good price. She said she had to ask him but she keeps forgetting, so I'll have to ask her again. That, or I'll try to convince my mom to let me borrow hers since she's not using it :p She just says, but I want to use it! Maybe I can ask to borrow it for a month and then buy my own. I dunno, but I will get one at some point!

So besides moving, I didn't do any other exercise. And my eating still needs to get back on track. We've cut down on going out which is good. That's less pigging out and less money to spend. We did buy pizza 2 days ago, of course we bought way too much and we still have some to eat :p But that'll be it for a while for pizza.

Well I should get going, laundry is calling to me!

Hey Risty! Glad your move went well. That used treadmill sounds like a great idea. They sound like maybe they bought a good quality one (him being a doctor and all you'd think they'd have the money :D), and since she barely ever used it it'll be like new. Are you still making your shakes? I haven't done my protein shakes in a while, but there's nothing good in the house right now so I've just reminded myself to have one for breakfast! Thanks! Keep us posted mami.

Glad to see you are back! I got a used treadmill for 75 bucks on craigslist they delivered and everything. They included some mats and it's pretty new still! I love it.
 
I'm SO happy you're back Risty. I know what you mean about costs adding up. I sometimes can't help myself from buying the things I realllllyyy want (this hot vintage shirt I just won on ebay ;) ) and so it sets me back when I should be spending that money on groceries..or um rent would be good too! haha! I hope you get that treadmill from the doc's wife, I agree that it's probably a wonderful investment and also a good quality. Hope you're getting right back on track girl, I'm sure you are :hug2:
 
Hey Risty, Welcome back!! I missed ya!! good to see you got your moving all done and now you can start focusing on you again!! Have you maintained weight this whole time?? Or did you lose a little while moving? I sure hope you end up with that treadmill, that would be awesome!! It's nice to jump up on that thing and watch some tv or listen to some good music. A long time...

It's been so long since I've been on. Life has just been nuts. Lots of things have been going on. My boyfriend started his own business which I had to help him out with it until just recently. So besides my own job I was working with him too. Also, his dad had a heart attack and had to get a tripple bypass. Not to mention a whole bunch of other things. So needless to say, I haven't been on :p

I will write more but not everyday like I used to. Hehe, but that's ok! Every couple days or so should be fine :D

On other news, my work has decided to do our own biggest loser, which I blew completely the first oh, 3-4 weeks. I went down, then up, then down and then up again. So it really sucks. So I took a good look at myself and what I was doing. Basically what I was doing was eating the amount of calories I needed to eat if I was working out 5 days a week and I was working out...well.. none. SO, that opened my eyes and I've exercised everyday this week! WOO! I went on my treadmill monday for half an hour (was sick so I didn't do more). On Tues I went on the treadmill for an hour. On Weds I went on a half hour walk at work plus I did 20 mins of DDR prior to work and about 40 mins of DDR before bed last night. Today I've already done 30 mins of DDR and plan on going to my cardio kickboxing tonight :)

I've also started using fitday to keep track of my calories again and it's been really helpful.

I'm really motivated again, thank goodness! I was in a HUGE slump for the longest time and couldn't get out of it, and somehow I managed to get out of it :) I feel so much better now that I've remade the choice to put it a lot of effort to reaching my goals.

I'll have to catch up with everyone later. I just came on quickly before I had to get ready for work.

Sorry that I've been away, everything has just been nuts lately and just started settling down :)
 
Hey Risty!! Don't worry about us, you know we will be here when you get back regardless of how long it takes. Everyone needs time off of here I think, and I know several people who were regulars and have taken time off of WLF, so don't sweat it!! It's just really nice to see you again, and hear about what's been going on. I hope you motivation sticks around and I hope it's not to late for you to win that Biggest Loser contest. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!! I hope your week turns out to be a good one!

Hey thanks everyone :)

I had to redo my ticker because I haven't used it for so long, it went bye bye, lol.

So I'm proud of myself for supper. Trying to be healthy so had salmon but we needed something to go with it, so of course we have nothing but sidekicks (yummy noodle things). So usually my bf and I split one package BUT I put half of my noodles and salmon away for lunch tom, WOO! I've never been able to do that before because I love pasta way too much! So even though the noodles aren't so healthy, I only ate half a cup of them, score! lol

So for our Biggest Loser thing at work, we weight ourselves every Friday. So hopefully tomorrow shows the work I've done this week. But if it doesn't that's ok, cause it may just take another week to show :D So I'm not so worried.

Oh and I DID go to kickboxing today, it was so hard. Haven't been there in a while and it kicked my butt.

Anyways, I will be on more often because I need to do this :)

I wanna look awesome for Christmas and I'm hoping to achieve that. Unfortunately Halloween is evil. We have 4 boxes of chocolates ready for children who MAY come. We don't even know if kids will come. So I'm being good. I only ate 1 lil coffee crips and half of one of those lil kit kats so together that's 85 cals and that was a few days ago. So my resistance of the chocolates is going well so far, lol.

Yeah, I haven't done kickboxing or MMA in a long while....kinda a bit scared to go back cause I know I'm gonna be really rusty on it compared to how I was....sigh...
Maybe I'll have more time next sem to go to the MMA club though...
