I've been here when i was around 170 and over the many years (since 2007?) I've gone from 170s to 200s to this morning 211.6.

I have never been this heavy in my life. I want to get back down.

It's late at night, but I wanted to write this quick blurb to start this now.

Meals
Meal 1 10am: 2 servings of honey cheerios, 1 serving 1% milk, 1 TJ salad, 1 cheese bell (red circular things)

Snack 12pm: 2 TJ pumpkin oreos

Meal 2 2pm: 1 cheeseburger with bacon and fried egg, french fries, ketchup

Snack 1 4-6pm: Large 2% iced chai latte from Peets

Meal 3 730pm: 1 servings of honey cheerios, 1/2 serving 1% milk

2 poops. no exercise today.

WTF, the struggle is so real. So real.

Welcome back laureelee, we are in the same boat. We know its not gonna be easy at first but after your 1-2 weeks.. you will say bye bye to your excess weights. We can do this together! :hurray:

Woke up this morning at 209.6, went to the gym, I only cycled for like 20 minutes, and a few minutes of cool down on the elliptical

I'm not dwelling on the worst weigh in ever experienced, but focusing on what healthy choice i can make next. Kid's meals are where it is at!!

After I worked out, I went to starbucks and got an iced coffee and ate a TJ vanilla yogurt with granola

Snack 1 830am: TJ vanilla yogurt with granola, iced coffee
Meal 1 1230pm: 4 halves of thai fresh spring rolls (veggie), papaya salad (veggie)
Meal 2 230pm: kid's meal at Quiznos. turkey and cheese with mayo in wheat and baked bbq lays and low cal lemonade
Snack 2 4pm: 2 TJ pumpkin oreos
Meal 3 7pm: 1 serving honey cheerios, 1 serving 1% milk
approx calories: 1500

The lunch was so good, i love eating fresh ingredients!!!! alright, gotta go study.

woke up to 206.8, that's more like it. 211? ridiculously stupidly high.

630am breakfast: sausage/egg/potato/cheese burrito, 500cal
12pm lunch: chicken pho soup, 400cal
430pm dinner?: panera bread: youpick2: apple fuji chicken salad, turkey and berry flatbread, 1 grain roll, 700cal

I'm in a hot classroom at 2:35pm and i have a headache. had a BM after breakfast. been sipping on water all day.

I didn't sleep well last night, i want to crash tonight so hard....

Updated from Panera Bread. The only draw back is that this place is expensive. Just the meal, without a drink, $10.88, really? That's expensive. The salads are SO delicious though..and with free wifi and plenty of outlets and a place to hang while traffic clears? You know it!

I just hope I won't get any acid reflux tonight. If I don't eat anything for a long period of time, I get some acid reflux. Sucks! I have this headache, took ibuprofen, still here.

...was there MSG in the chicken pho soup?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I hope not at least.

Hi, Laureelee07. We want to help. Because we (FinerFit, group) used to be in that position.

Aside from all the information people get on fitness, the best thing to do is to start doing it. And to start doing it, find the reason why you want to lose weight. Whatever the reason, its the right reason. Focus on it, think real hard on it. Don't focus on the weight. Focus on why you want to lose that weight. Do you like volleyball? That's an awesome way to start. After you find out why you want to lose weight, make it your source of motivation.

There are reasons as to why weight can jump high. Some can be from stress, depression, and not much intense exercises (if you prefer to go the long way (through long-periods of cardio training), than ignore this paragraph). Nutrition also plays a big role. If budgeting allows it, it may be better to eat foods that are homemade instead of going out and eating. It may be more expensive, but at least you know what you put in your foods.

With this, and if you are commited to losing weight, we know that you will lose it. Good luck :)

Thanks FinerFit for stopping by! I have allll of that, i feel like i am a medical dictionary of syndromes, diseases! I am working on alleviating those by making healthier choices.

I'm concerned that the headache I had at around 2pm yesterday is still persistent even when I woke up. I did go to bed at 945pm yesterday, with less than a handful of disturbances, so I call it a successful night. I didnt FEEL any eyebags this morning - yay!

I've drank enough water, took 2 ibuprofens at 3pm yesterday, still no relief. What gives? I thought it was an MSG induced headache, but I'd certainly think it'd be cleared by the next morning. Not the case.

Woke up at 206.8, with all that I ate yesterday.

0630am Snack 1: TJ Pomegranate Yogurt, 150cal
0730am Meal 1: Cafeteria: 2 servings of scrambled eggs with bell peppers and onions, 2/3 6" blueberry pancake, 300cal
11am Snack 1: 1 kitkat bar (not a regular bar, 2 sticks serving type)
0100pm Meal 2: TJ Salad, 300cal
0200pm Snack 2: 2 tbsp hummus, 2tbsp red salsa, 8 pita chips, 200cal
0500pm Meal 3: 2tbsp hummus, small combo at Jack in the box Siracha burger, 2 reg tacos

I got bored before deciding Meal 3.

A) I feel lonely
1) I get bored
2) I want to get out of the house
3) buy food

Hi Laureelee

Sorry you've been finding weight loss tricky over the past few years (I feel you!!!) Sometimes it takes a real high reading on the scales to shock us into doing something real to make a difference in our lives. I wish you luck with it :)

Keep doing what you can. Use your food log to work out where the most calories are coming from or work out where you can substitute certain foods for something healthier. It will all be worth it :) Good luck!

Hey LouLou! Thank you for the encouraging words. I really appreciate you stopping by and taking time! Thanks again!

So I fell asleep without the pulsating left upper extremity, so I'd have to say last night's sleep was excellent.

I decided to face my fate and weigh myself: 206.4, surprised, if i didn't eat cheerios or steak/mashed potatoes, last night, maybe i would've been in 204? Anyways!

Meal 1: 10am: 4oz steak, 1 cup mashed potatoes, 2 fried eggs, TJs chicken and beets salad, 1 serving of Cheerios and 1% milk, 1200
Meal 2: 1pm: Chipotle Chicken Bowl: w/ black beans, lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and corn salsa (they were stingy)
Snack 1: 230pm: large Peet's dirty chai latte
Snack 2: 7pm fun size Milky Way

I have too much constant chest pressure throughout the day for the past week that I can't even eat, when i'm bored. I'm too scared!

Surprisingly, I woke up at 205.0. Nice!

Meal 1: 930am: 2 serving of cheerios and 1% milk, 16 pieces of Spinach and Mozarella Ravioli w/ Parmeasan sprinkles, 1200
Snack 1: 1030am: 2 super small fun size, 80
Snack 2: 1pm: Trenta Starbucks Blackberry Mojito Lemonade, 230
Meal 2: 6pm: 4oz steak, 1/2 potatoes, 3 bits of hotdog, 1.5 eggs scrambled, 1 slice multi grain bread, 1/2 cup sliced zucchini,
I'm so thirsty! Walking upstairs with my ravioli had my heart racing. Any movements get my heart into overdrive.

Good thing is last night my bp was 121/83, so the other day it was just a hypertensive blood pressure reading.

Went for a 30min walk with the dogs, good thing is the dogs make me keep up a fast pace because they usually pull! No chest problems to report this very minute. THANK GOD!

Lauralee, I remember you from my old days on WLF! Great to see you still posting :) Your food sounds delicious..Spinach and Mozz Ravioli...Yum! Good luck chick xx

Weird,

For a second I thought I couldn't post from my updated software iMAC, Yosemite is really weird.

So I went on a walk last night, and noticed I didn't have chest pressure/pain afterwards, but I noticed mild chest pain when I woke up today.

I woke up to 205.0 again. I guess it's cause I ate so much yesterday, calorie-wise.

Breakfast: 830am: 2 scrambled eggs, 1 slice multigrain bread, 1/2 cup of salsa, 1 cup of potato and hotdog mix (1/2 hot dog, 1/2 medium potato), 500
Snack 1030am: 1 serving cheerios and 1% milk, 250
Lunch: 130pm: McDonalds: Jalapeno Double Burger, McChicken (minus some of the bread - won't take a bite without some meat in it!), Small fries, Diet Coke, and a snack size M&M mcflurry that I refuse to finish! So, ending it at 1300

I have tons of studying to get done today. Huge exam tomorrow. I am going to eat less today. Not try, do do do.

SUNFLOWER! I remember you and the whole community, this place was so lively!!! It seems like we have a lot of lurkers now, c'mon guys and gals! make a profile!

WHAT IS POTATO HOTDOG MIX. I need it in my life. Is it potato..with a hotdog on it? Or hotdogs cut up in mashed potato? GET IT IN MY FACE.

Yeahhhh, lurkers, stop lurking. Have a good day chick xox

I think I've only been a lurker on your page so far... So I'll end that now. HELLLLLO! Now good luck getting rid of me ;-)

hey everyone,

didn't mean to go incognito but i got some new electronics so in my spare time, i've been busy setting them up. going all Apple now.

lifestyle and diet is bad. feeling shitty even when I wake up. it sucks!

I plan on taking my dog on a walk this evening, that usually alleviates some of my chest pressure/pain.

My poops have sucked too, in terms of girth. Kinda painful and feeling tender. =/

Got a bunch of phone calls to make. Podiatrist, psychiatrist, and maybe an OB-GYN!

Welcome back. Very sorry to hear you are doing poorly. I hope you're feeling better soon!

Okay poop talk:

Stool softeners are cheap, safe, and don't have the potential to work "too well" like laxatives. It's hard to feel well when things are out of sorts in that department.

Hey everyone,

Went to the Podiatrist, got a pair of orthotics casted. Told to keep my weight down.
Called the Psych office, going to hopefully get a return call at a closer office. concern: anxiety

Last night's halloween party was AWESOME. I dressed up as a loofah. Won runner up in the costume contest! I had to work a reg booth at school, so then I slept at 1am, and woke up at 645am. Not enough sleep especially after a night of drinking. So I didn't weigh myself in the morning, but I will tomorrow morning.

Got the case of "1st of the month" motivation emotions. Woooo!

Let me just list what I ate:

Breakfast: 830am: 3 medium size pastries (custard, raspberry, apple), 1/2 cup of fruit
Snack 10am: another pastry
Lunch: 12pm: 1 turkey and cheese sub, 6" but narrow than a subway sub, 1 cup bow-tied sundried and olive pasta, 1 small chocolate chip cookie
Another meal: 3pm: 1/2 chicken curry sub, 1 cup bow-tied sundried and olive pasta, 1/2 sprite, 1 cup fruit
Dinner: 4pm: 1 chicken curry 6" sub

Plenty of carbs, 2.5 subs, and 4 pastries. No salads!
