Right now is tomorrow, Monday, the 1st, and the ah-hah moment

Great News! I woke up at 202.8lb! I did go to sleep last night with a burning feeling in my throat, I can only think of acid reflux. I usually get this burning feeling when I don't eat for 6 hours. I hope it stops occurring as I familiarize my body with less food intake. I feel a lot better overall, less achy, stuffed, and distracted.

Breakfast: Mcdonalds Egg White Delight, 1/2 hashbrown, 325cal
Lunch: 2 vietnamese shrimp rolls with peanut sauce, 3 dimsum, 600cal (SO GOOD!)
Snack: 3pm: 1 vietnamese shrimp roll with peanut sauce, 3 dimsum, 400cal
Dinner: 9pm: salad with grilled chicken breast and quarter of avocado, dipped in ranch sauce, 250cal
Dinner part 2: 1030pm: 1/2 In n' Out cheeseburger with 1 serving of fries, 300cal
Calories: 1975

The yoga schedule is bare on the weekends, but I did wear the right shoes and bra to go to the gym. I plan on doing some cardio, arms, and stretching. I don't burn a lot of calories in yoga because I can't do all the moves, I just lose tons of water.

High sodium day today. Not going to weigh myself tomorrow morning. Also! I decided to weigh myself 1 every 3 mornings, so I don't get too obsessive. I will be out all day tomorrow so I gotta be sure I eat right!

Went to the gym. My local 24hr fitness got new cycling bikes!!!! IT WAS SUCH A GOOD RIDE, SO SMOOTH! did that for 20min, interval of course. 5 min rowing, keeping it 50cal goal. and 5min treadmill incline walking.

Hi hun--I have an app on my samsung that counts my steps and the calories burnt. Most days I struggle to get over 6000 and I have quite an active job! It's crazy how little I do compared to what I feel like I'm doing. Have a good day chicky xx
 
Hey Sunflower!! I have the iPhone 6 which has a built in pedometer! sooo cool! Found out when clicking around the Health App. I was so shocked at how little I walk on Tuesdays, no classroom changes, class in all day. I do add 500 steps to every day because I'm not always with my phone. But it's shocking to realize that I could walk less than 2000 steps a day! WOW! I think the recommended amount is about 10,000 steps? I haven't hit that goal yet, but I definitely want to get there soon. I gotta build up my muscle strength gradually.

Yeah, it's crazy. Mine is built in too :) It's really eye-opening. When I work at the hospital I walk 12,000+ but on average days I clear maybeeee 5000-7000 a day. Which is no good! Although 10,000 a day is supposed to be 5/6 miles which seems like loads.

What is chobani?
 
I think overall I made "good" choices. Like "B" grade.

I chose the low-cal options, egg whites, fresh fruit, and a slice of hawaiian over combo.

Gotta get my game plan down for this next week because I bought 2 sweaters and 1 wool coat from Banana Republic (L, L, and Size 14) and they are all a bit snug. The 2 sweaters just don't look good on me cause I'm big up top. The wool coat would be comfortable at 20-25 lbs, 180s. I'd wear it out at 190, without zipping up.

I have such an apple body shape that the sweaters just look so bad on me. I GOTTA WORK OUT!
 
Chicken fried steak?? Ahh, memories of home.... I haven't had that in over a year. Which is for the best, but it still makes me sad. Enjoy those new cycling bikes at the gym!

(Oh, and Hana, Chobani is a brand of Greek yogurt.)
 
Woke up feeling lethargic from yesterday's meal. The hawaiian slice was work it. Not so much the omelette.

We had some food in the fridge that needs to get eaten.

Breakfast: 9am: 2 eggs, 1 pearl tomato, 5oz steak, 1 cup "korean side dishes- egg plant, fish cake, cucumber), 500cal
Lunch: 12pm: 1 banana, 1/2 Red Smoothie Odwalla, 200cal
Lunch: 130pm: Jack in the box, Spicy Siracha Burger small combo diet dr pepper and small regular fries and Nachos monster taco
Early Dinner: 4pm: 1 large unsweeten/sweet tea, 1 small fries, 1 snack size M&M McFlurry, 1/2 loaf of 6" italian sub
Late dinner: 830pm: 2oz steak, 1/2 cup mushrooms, brussel sprouts

I fell off the deep end food wise. =/

Tomorrow is a new day. I will go to a dinner meeting tomorrow at a Japanese restaurant, so I'll need to be prepared!

Hey everyone,

It's been a hot mess of the past few days in terms of exercise and diet. Healthy choices and smaller portions weren't chosen. I was going to weigh myself this morning, to face the truth, but I had all my clothes on and completely forgot. Honestly!

So today

No good. Been busy walking all over the office.

Breakfast: 3 bites of an almond crossiant, small peppermint mocha with nonfat milk
Lunch: chicken/shrimp/veggies burrito bowl, with 10 tortilla chips

Dinner: 1/2 turkey cranberry sammie and clam chowder bowl from Boudin's
Dessert: 5oz strateticello gelato
Dinner #2: 1/4 chicken korean fries, 3 bites of pork sisig burrito, 3 bites of custard cronuts
 
It's been a long time. It sucks that I've gained back all the weight I've lost. This month, I went up and down about 9 pounds. Boo! I want to report some type of lost, so I gotta get back on the horse.

I weighed in at 209.2! My goal was to be 197 to get my hair colored, but I couldn't move the appointment while keeping the discount price! I got the balayage and ombre so it looks so good and natural!

As far as your hair coloring description: I know what ombre means from art (where one color fades into another), but I can only deduce that balayage is how old a balay is. Is it a style, color, technique, nautical term? When it's too cold to wet my hair and use my hand to smash down the pillow head I use a technique known as "combing" (the "b" is silent) to fix my hair. I have also tried "brushing" with similar results. In other word I'm not too savvy on the hair terminology.

I thought I posted that I weighed in at 210 before going over to my Uncle's for Thanksgiving dinner. I was a flat 210.0 before getting dressed and heading out the door. I'm so excited that I got some really cute fitted spandex like workout pants for only $9! I think it's cause tags were switched, but hey, i'm not going to complain or pay the corrected 40% off 27.99.....nope! I did get over 5000 steps in today, which is a high of recent days.

Feeling good, but fat. It never ends!

Bought a bunch, returned a bunch, gotta get these finances under control! But so many things I want.....La Mer skincare, Sephora VIB status qualification,Express 3 in 1 canvas green convertible jacket.

didn't have any acid reflux or feeling of hunger or anything yesterday, so i was very surprised.

today? didn't do so hot, i ate out all 3 meals! =(

Snack: 2/3 TJ's Pomegranate Yogurt, 100cal
Lunch: Chicken Terriyaki and Rice, 700cal

Sigh* I'm stressed out.
 
really weird.

so, i had a tough time falling asleep, and i felt my arms swell (due to all the salt) throughout the night. I didn't get a good night's rest, especially before today's pathology final.

I woke up, decided it wasn't a good idea to weigh myself, so I got ready and out the door. It's been raining cats and dogs out here in the bay area.

Breakfast: Starbucks black coffee with bacon and gouda sandwich, 350cal
Lunch: Japanese: chirachi bowl salad, chicken udon, 1200cal
Early dinner at 345: the other half of the chicken udon
Post-workout: 1 serving of homemade mac n cheese of wheat pasta, 2 gluten-free eggo waffles, 1/2 cup slow churned french vanilla and 20 white chocolate chips, 600cal

I was doing well until the post-workout. I wasn't sure even if I wanted to go workout while sitting in traffic, but this morning, while humming along to school, i got excited to go workout. and i had a great time while working out.

40minutes (FORTY?!?!) cycling, interval. sweat drip drip drip.

But because I ate that huge carbo meal afterwards, like you can guess, I'm not going to weigh myself tomorrow morning. Huge carb meal + salt from udon = mood killer.

So I weighed myself today and got 206.4lb! But boy, was i a hungry (no headache or stomachpain or lightheadedness). But cause i was hungry, i ate and ate. Then I found out i got an A in my pathology class...SAY WHAT!!!

Breakfast- 2 pancakes w/ syrup, 2 eggs, 3 strips of bacon, 700cal
Snack- 1 banana, 100cal
Lunch- Boudin's Turkey and Cranberry sandwich with bag of chips, 600cal
Dinner- Costco chicken bake and 3/4 berry smoothie, 900cal
Post Dinner Meal - 3/4 kale and quinoa pack, 3oz spicy pork, 4oz raw tuna, 1/2 naked smoothie, 800cal
calories: 3100

No cycling today. Tomorrow I'm volunteering for a jingle bell dash, then gotta study for 2 more exams next week! Need 2 more As!!
