Ok, guys this thread is very tempting. I have one concern though there is not much protein, how do you get your iron intake. Your all doing a very great job though.
 
Redneckwoman was wondering if you have a scanner, if you did any chance of posting that article in the magazine we dont get that one over here.

as for iron i am taking a multivitamin
 
Its cool I found one that secretly posted ages ago I must of downloaded it to my computer. I have one more question for you though. Do you have nothing on your rice. Just plain? Also if you have toast at breakfast, what do you put on it do you eat that plain as well? Sorry for all the questions trying to work out how to make this diet work for me.
 
5 lbs lost!!!!

Oh my goodness!!! I couldn't wait to tell you guys that when I weighed this morning I was down 5 lbs. Wow that detox day was hard, but worth it. I am pretty sure alot of it was water but I didn't care because just seeing the scale finally move was AWESOME! I am continuing today and so far I have had 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup peaches, 2 fat free yogurt w/ cherries. For lunch and dinner I am going to have 1 cup rice with 2 cups green peppers and 1 cup tomatoes. This ROCKS!! Hopefully the success will continue.

I was wondering how you read someones diary. Earlier in this thread someone made reference to reading secretlys diary. How do I do that so that I can stay motivated on this rice lifestyle? Thanks and Rice on! ( Get it Rice on instead of Rock on! :) hahahahaha )

Phase 2 is just as good and by the way just to let you know down to 328 thats 7 pounds in 5 days

Right guys, this cant be put off any longer. Im starting the rice diet as of tomorow!!!
I was going to do it next week but thats totally an excuse right? I need to lose the weight with a better plan and so im going to take the right steps to do it.

I just wanted to ask, is non-processed bran a wholewheat cereal? Or can you not have it in this diet?
Also, who can i pm/msg for some specific food advice...any experts out there? :eek: :)
 
Erm... this may sound like a really silly question... but you guys all say a cup of... what size cup?

like a pint glass or... just a coffee mug? im confused. lol

I think in US measurements, a cup is equal to about 8oz. Does that help?

Can you all post your stats, those who are doing the rice diet?

Like how much weight you lost in how long? I'm curious if it is faster results than what I'm doing. Thanks!
 
I want to start tomorrow too. I went to the store and bought lots of food plus the FIRST magazine. I already have the RICE DIET REPORT book from the 1990's and it is very helpful. I have tried this diet before and it is very fast weight loss. My problem is that I have very high triglycerides and am insulin resistant. A dietician gave me a diet to follow that calls for only 4 carbs a day. I tried it for several weeks - very slow results. I am worried that all these carbs will make me diabetic since I am so close already.

Hi there guys,
I wanted to let you know that when I weighed this morning I was down another 2 pounds. That makes 7.5 pounds in 2 days. This is CRAZY! I love it though. I sure hope that it keeps up. WOW this is the best new lifestyle ever. I feel so great and in control. I will post again the next time that I weigh. -Aubrey
 
one true love did you try to click on the pics that is how you get the image to come up bigger and your body mass index is 26.42 and it should be 22.4-24 weight should be 114-120. this diet is more than that, its a lifestyle change you have to commit to it. And if you do you will loose up to 8 pounds per week till you reach your goal weight.

Miss jelly belly , you want stats well mine are as follows started out at 354 and in 3 weeks went down to 329 so thats what 25 pounds.and then i went off it for 2 weeks and went back up to 334 now im back on it and in 5 days now im at 327 so again 7 pounds down im going to start again with the phase one of the diet and then this will pick up speed and my loss will jump. I hope



any other questions just ask im no expert but im trying to help. lol

My only other questions are what condiments can i use like if i want to have a salad can i use fat free dressing and do you think i could use apple sauce as one of my fruits sorry for all the questions i just want to make sure i'm doing the diet right!!!!
