Renewing my sense of worth. Again.

Yepppp. I'm still here. Have no choice! lol. Everytime I dissapear from here, I lose focus on being healthy. Soooo, if its really gonna take a website to make me stay in charge of myself, so be it. I'm here for good :rolleyes:
 
So today was a good day :) Counted EVERY single little calorie I ate, and stayed in my range. YAYY! Like I said earlier tho- it was hard... days off are kryptonite; they make me weaker, hahaha.
It took me a lot longer than it shoulda to get motivated to get to the gym- didn't get there till about 210ish, did a half hour of triceps and shoulders. I am very aware that my bingo wings are as big as ever, but I was very happy to notice in the mirror that I can SEE muscle working. woo! Soo, they're gettin there. Sloooowly but surely. Then did 65min on the crosstrainer, and after I finished I decided to do another 25min. I was a sweaty mess, fershur.
Gonna watch a lil tv then head to bed. Work at 330pm tomorrow, so I'm gonna sleep in!
 
Sooo, just a few days into my "I'm gonna go to the gym/workout once a day till vacay" and I missed the gym last night. :( Got home from work, sat down, next thing ya know, I'm waking up on the couch at 5am! dammmmmn! Also went a few over my calories yesterday; not horribly, but I had a "pigout" where I ate a ton of carrots with a load of ranch. Sooo, the ranch did me in... on the upside: at least it wasn't a pound of chocolate that I inhaled, right?!
Another day off today, so far not craving anything :) yayyy...
 
Another great day! Food and calories stayed on track, and my workout was a great one. I can't lie tho- the first 15min of my cardio I PRETTY much wanted to scream EFF THIS! and go home, lol, but I did an hour and twenty minutes, and just under 7 miles, as well as 20min of weights beforehand.

Another closing shift tomorrow; as much as I hate working so late, I sorta love em, cuz then I get my gym time in at the time I want to go.

Alllrighty, off to bed!
 
Your doing awesome Jess! I know how you felt at the beginning of your workout thats how i feel everyday when I just think about working out-LOL your definitely determined! Keep up the good work.

Thank you :) I feel like I need to be super vigilant right now, because on the 27th I leave for vacation for 8 days, annnd I'm nervous, aint gonna lie! I'm a member of Anytime Fitness, and I'm fairly certain that when I go to Minnesota there's one of them like 12 miles away from the town I'll be in, so I've GOT to try and get there at least a few times while I'm there. Everytime I go on vacay I end up pigging out and losing all my tolerance levels at the gym, and then when I get back home, I take the next 3 months off. :rolleyes: NOT gonna happen this time. No siiiirrrr. :D
 
Today wasn't to bad. I DID eat a giant Symphony bar, 600cals. Can you believe that shit?! Luckily, I was a little low on my calories, so I managed to stay right where I was suppose to be. I do, however, realize that a huge candy bar is NOT choice diet food. I didn't do what I've done in the past tho: eat bad, decide the day is screwed, give up and pig out. Go me. wooo! haha.
The gym was good, too. Got off work bout 1240; shoulda gone straight to the gym, but I started reading this book I've been reading for a week, was pretty close to the end, and just couldn't quit... Sooo, I got to the gym little after 2am, didn't leave till close to 4am. Didn't do any weights tonight; cardio was an hour and 41min. I know, very random number. My original plan was to finish up the 65 min cycle, and start a new one and go until the first and second session equalled 1000cals burned, but I was watching some show on tv and I got really into it and just kept going; ended up doing an extra 20min over what I really needed to do. Thats okay tho :) just more cals burned in the bank!
So its about 5am now, need to go to bed so I can get up semi-earliesh before work tomorrow and get some stuff done. Errg. Work. Whyyyy can't I just be independantly wealthy?! heheee.
 
No gym tonight... Another day off my "scheduled" day. But I CAN defend myself: a friend is in town for the weekend, and its the last weekend we'll all be together before another friend moves to Washington :( so I went out, (and before I EVEN list what I drank, I was 1000cals short for the day!) and I had 1 red beer with clamato, 3 shots of Jack(blleeeeehhhhh!), 2 twanger bombs, and 1 prairie fire. Eeek. Loads of cals with all the booze, just hope that I was low enought throughout the day to offset that. Tomorrow everyone wants to do a bbq after I get off work, and I can almost guarantee that there will be no gym then, either. Effffffff. WILL make up for it tho. I've been doing amazing, can't let a few drinks get me down! work 12-9 tomorrow, so off to bed, hopefully with all the water I've drank I will NOT have a hangover, lol! :)
 
I am hoping the waking up this morning wasn't to painfull....get your behind in the gym on Sunday!!!!!

hahaaa, I actually felt pretty good :) I've just been in such a good mood and have felt so great since I ACTUALLY started focusing on my diet and weight loss that even a mild dizzy hangovery-thing couldn't keep me down :) just chugged a buncha water and took a coupla ibuprofen and woolah. Alllll better! Breakfast was a fiber bar(not a lot of cals, but was in a hurry as I slept in as late as possible, lol) and ate a pluot on break. I lovelovelove pluots, sooo excited for them to be at the grocery store that I just wanna buy a huge ole bag of em.
Anyway, just on my lunch break; eating a healthy choice meal. I am very aware that some of these freezer meals have a lot of preservatives, but I have a whole bunch of em. eff. Sooo, I'm gonna finish eating all these meals, and then start making(EEEK!) my own foods. I'm not a cook, so this should get interesting, lol! Off to relax before getting back to work, will be back later to update :) (and I can't lie; kinda hoping the bbq DOESN'T happen so I can get into the gym.)
 
So NO bbq tonight, tho we all still got together. Only had one mikes margarita, so yayyy! All those cals avoided, ahhh. Only downside, no gym. Its ok! Tomorrow night I'm gonna bust out a whole lotta miles of cardio and pump those weights to make up for it.
 
Did NOT do weights tonight; got to the gym later than I should've. Did my cardio tho- another hr and 40 min, so that's not so bad :) have sort of a huuuuge headache right now- gonna get some sleep and hope for a great weigh in tomorrow!

Yeah, I was impressed with myself to only have one drink, too :) I love a tasty margarita annnny time, lol!
 
Todays weigh in: -6lbs. WHHHAAAATTTTT!!! Yeahhhh baby, thats what I like to see. Bout friggin time, too. :) I leave for vacation next Friday, annnd I'm not gonna get to the 20lb mark, but I think if I push hard enough I can get to at least a 15lb loss. I'm almost at 10 right now... I think it can be done, or at least VERY close to it :)
