Rebel's Diary

I LOVE salmon any old how! Yum.
Abso-----lutely :)

I weighed today and i lost 2 pounds. So, thats 89 pounds so far. Still a long way to go.....
But also a long way to have come. Never forget that. Losing five percent of your body weight is known to help your health in numerous ways and you´re already way over that. So just keep doing what you´re doing, looking after your body and health, and the weight will come off in time. Don´t put anything on hold until then; life is already happening.

My daughter asked me to teach her how to make homemade donuts and later to show her how to make some fresh cheese ravioli with some alfredo sauce.
The look on my face must have been priceless because the next thing out of her mouth was " um.... Nevermind."
It's hard being the only one thats semi concerned about what they eat.

I agree with LaMa. You have come a long way Rebel! I hope that your family will come on board, for their health's sake. Keep on trucking xo

Today started out ok then got hit by something....the kinda thing like everything negative in your life hits you all at once. It really killed my appetite. I got the calorie app your going to die message.

Breakfast- omelette; 8oz egg whites, 2 whole eggs, onion, mild green chili peppers. (279 calories)

Lunch- Baked thai chili glazed salmon, brussels sprouts. (475 calories)
( wow carby)

Dinner- Subway 6" buffalo chicken meat only, 3 individual sharp cheddar blocks. (330 calories)

I can see the glaze on your salmon being sugary, but are you sure abou your dinner calories? At a guess I'd put a six inch roll alone at over 200 and the individual cheese thingies you get here are around 60 kcal a piece. Then add the chicken with all the stuff added for it to be called buffalo chicken... Am I being stupid or just pushy?

The cheese are around 80 cals each and subway list the 3 oz of chicken is 90 cals. It seems really low but thats what they say anyhow.

Ah... you mean you didn´t eat the sandwich, just the meat. Got you :)
90 kcal for 85 g of buffalo chicken does sound very low, but depending on both the chicken parts they use (assuming breast) and the kind/amount of sauce (poached in water, then oven-baked in a coating of low-sugar hot sauce) it´s quite possible.

My calories were so low yesterday ill probably go out for chinese today. Even making goodish choices like sushi some meat and veggie dishes calories wont be a problem. Carbs well..... Thats a whole nother story.

Thinking about making some home made humus in the next few days. The only thing stopping me is i dont want to get my new food processor dirty. Weird right?
Also not looking forward to figuring out the calories the converting the weight into tablespoons. God i hate maff........

Yesterday was ok. I didnt have breakfast or dinner. Lunch was chinese buffet. I stayed away from rice and pasta except for the sushi. I prob had 4 sushi rolls. There are normally 5 pieces in a roll and i had a piece of this and a piece of that kinda thing. Broiled salmon and some shimp and clam thing. And just stuff like that. Stayed away from the dessert bar except for some jello and pieces of melon and lychee.
Calories probably blown
Carbs really really blown
My calories have been really low for the last week or so so im really not stressin about it. I'll just consider it a cheat day and move on. I dont have cheat days so 1 in 5 months should b ok or at least not horrible.

I wouldn´t say you´re cheating, at least calorie-wise. At your calorie average your body must sometimes think it´s in a life or death situation so it´s probably good to reassure it. Or maybe it isn´t. It´s probably better to have decent calories every day but let´s not get unrealistic here. Hope the food was really fricking awesome!

Not a bad day. Feeling decent for the first time in a few weeks.

Breakfast- protein shake; almond milk, vanilla whey protein powder, peanut butter. (400 calories)

Lunch- Carl's Jr low carb burger, Starbucks quad espresso with a splash of soy. (456 calories)
(In place of a bun they use lettuce leaves; yummy) :)

Dinner- Omelette, 4 slices turkey bacon; 4 eggs, 2 slices provolone. (560 calories)

Yay for better days! Do I want to know what a quad espresso is? If it´s quadruple the normal, Italian amount I don´t... :p
