There are some natural mood stabelizers you can get at the nutrition store but not sure if a work or not.
Most don´t, some do but can influence other meds. On the other hand: "natural" remedies are mostly unregulated and can contain pretty much anything. A friend of mine is a neurologist at a large hospital and got a youngish woman admitted a while back who was showing signs of drug overdosis. Both she and her boyfriend tested positive for cocaine and methamphetamine even though they were adamant that they hadn´t taken anything. I´m going to by cynical here and say they were lucky to be white, middle class, preppy folks but in any case they said their symptoms started after trying the herbal tea their naturopath had prescribed so they brewed a cup and tested that... and it tested positive. Not because the lady at the dispensary had made some crazy mistake but because there was so much different crap in the mixture (some of it literally; there was actual bat shit in it :eek: ) that the different compounds had reacted with each other to produce something that not only triggered the lab tests but also these people´s bodies´ receptors. True story, as told to me by someone I trust.

We have...... She would like me back on them but at the same time they cause weight gain; in me anyhow. So we r just on the fence about it all right now.
 
Today has been ok other than the whole couch potato thing......maybe tomorrow ill get some walking in.

Breakfast- Egg white and cheddar omelette. (155 calories)

Lunch- Beef cube steak, Green beans. (669 calories)

Dinner- baked mahi mahi with lemon, brussels sprouts with butter. (550 calories)

BMR> 2786
Cals> 1374
Total= -1412
Net carbs= 35
 
I really feel for you Rebel. Our son has suffered for far too long without medication & I have been trying to encourage him to try it. If it results in weight gain for him he'll quickly stop them. He has not been happy for SO long. It breaks my heart! BP sure does suck! Sending you a great big hug XOXO

Today has been ok. Maybe try to walk some later.

Breakfast- Egg white omelette with swiss and provolone, grilled bologna. (453 calories)

Lunch- Lobster and tuna salad. (412 calories)

Dinner- wild salmon fillet, mix of broccoli and cauliflower, butter, lemon. (348 calories)

BMR> 2786
Cals> 1213
Total= -1573
 
Todays net carbs were 24 so not bad. Im not going to keep them that low for too long. I cant tell you how bad i want some fruit oh and beets would b amazing.
 
I feel horribly emotional when my carbs are very low but some people thrive with hardly any for ages. To each their own I guess :)

It really doesn't bother me. It just feels strange because when i cut carbs my appetite is almost nonexistent.
 
Had my son bring me in a salmon fillet in from the deep freeze. He brought in 2 and put them in the ice box( prob called a refrigerator in your neck of the woods ;) )
Each fillet is about 24 ounces...... Gonna be eating salmon for awhile........

Breakfast- omelette with cotija and chives, smoked sausage. (597 calories)
( ran out of egg whites so i used whole eggs) :(

Lunch- Protein shake; vanilla whey protein powder, almond milk, peanut butter. (400 calories)

Dinner- wild salmon fillet, mix of broccoli and cauliflower, butter, lemon. (348 calories)

BMR> 2786
Cals> 1345
Total= -1441
Net carbs= 33
 
I can´t remember why you´re using egg whites instead of whole eggs. The whole thing may have more fat but it´s also a lot more nutritious, tasty and it helps you reach a decent amount of calories. About salmon: I don´t really like it anymore unless it´s raw :eek:

Originally it was to cut calories but mostly to cut back on some cholesterol. Salmon
I like it pretty much anyway its made. I normally bake it but i like it smoked and raw in sushi.
