Rebel's Diary

Went to the farmers´ market with a friend yesterday and I just. couldn´t. buy. anything. Brain simply refused to work, to want anything or to decide anything. Went home, slept another 3.5 hours, stuff got mostly normal again. So... I guess I´m saying I hope you woke up with your brain inside your skull and not fallen behind the night stand.
Under the bed and trapped under the floor ;)
Getting better with coffee.

An 87lb loss is incredible. Big well done to you :)
Thank u.... Its a work in progress :)

Was trying to think of a way to shave some calories. I picked up a non- stick pan so i can use less butter and oil. Never tried one before and it worked well.
--------just a random statement--------

Today was........ Well, It was today.

Breakfast- 4 fried eggs. (280 calories)

Lunch- Pan grilled pork cutlet, green beans. (426 calories)

The kind of pans you use can make such a difference. In calories, in taste, in ease of cooking, in cleaning up... Most non-stick skillets don´t fare well in the dishwasher, but then again wiping them clean is the easiest thing ever.

Yea i got to thinking and i figured i was getting 200-300 calories just from butter and olive oil and things like that. I've always used things like stainless steel and cast iron pans so i never really felt the need for a non- stick type of pans. If the food tended to stick i just added more oil or butter b4 cooking.
These that i bought are nothing special. I got 3; large medium and small in a set for $10.00. Id try those before investing in a good ceramic coated one. These work really well but i dont think they will last long simply because they were so cheap.

Calories were much lower than i wanted. When i logged my calories into the app and i got the dredded eat more or your going to die message. Well it was worded nicer but same meaning.
Cutting out the cooking fat plus I'm trying to get my portion sizes down to more human amounts so my calories were lower i guess.

:D I like this app. I think it´s hard in general to get enough calories if you´re cutting out most carbs AND most fats, so I´m not too surprised.
Cheap non-stick skillets means heating them up more slowly and any non-stick coating will suffer from the use of metal implements.

Yea i bought these primarily for my breakfast. Eggs bacon things like that. I pan grilled the pork cutlet in it lastnight and it did well. So yea medium heat types of food.
Yea i picked up a plastic spatula when i got the pans.

Tough question, I´m sure, but it may be worth talking to your doc about. Your well-being matters and it´s not confined to your weight. Of course I don´t know how much of a difference the meds make for weight control directly but you have changed so much about your eating habits that maybe now you can overcome the chemical difference the drugs.

Hey Rebel,
When was the last time you talked with your care provider? How long have you been off the medication?

I talk to her about once a week. I go see her about once a month or so. I've been off the meds since January. They were making me gain a stupid amount of weight.

Damn, what a struggle that is :\
Are there alternative medications?
