Reaching For the Dreams....

ugh. Didn't do so hot this weekend.I got sick, and kinda lounged around doing nothing, and it was a sore throat, so I had food that felt good on my throat to eat... AKA, Ice Cream. It did help my throat not burn everytime I swallowed, (i tried to leave the ice cream in the back of my throat for as long as possible, to try and freeze it, :D) But still, not the smartest thing i've ever done. Well, tomorrow is the start of a new week, and I'll be going to the Y everyday that I can, so we'll see.
 
hiya, dont worry about the slip up, i always end up eating bad stuff when im ill, its a comforter, but sounds like your back on track now :D
 
oh my my my....i've been a very bad girl recently. And having two snow days doesn't help much...I'm back up to 194.5...*groans* This month has been horrible. I was really hoping to be at 175 by christmas, but alas, my plans went awry...I'm starting to lose hope, but never fear. I will bounce back sooner or later. (preferably sooner) This month has plauged me, but I'll kick some major booty to get back in gear by christmas.I want to look sexy on christmas eve. (I'm singing for a different church by invitation) :D I plan on sticking to a better diet, and going to the Y every chance I get, and staying for at least an hour and a half. Lots of treadmill work will be done, along with weights, and the allowence of fun in the raquetball courts! :D

ugh... yet another snow day...

I'm almost ready to cry. AND it's supposed to snow/ice again tonight...I don't think that i'm going to get out of school until JULY! *crys*

oh well. I can handle that. :D

OUCH! Hey, can I get a little warning next time?? As soon as I opened the thread, BAM right in the face! :p :p It was fun though, thanks!! :D SNOW ROCKS! I can't wait to go to the mall where they have the snow machine going...so I can fake myself out.:D
 
usually, here on the coast, we don't get a lot either. But it's been really weird here recently, with the floods and all. We hit a record for wettest month EVER on record... That's a pretty wet month if you ask me. :D
 
Ok, so November was pretty bad. I managed not only to not lose any weight at all, but also managed to gain some back! I'm at 193...*groans* I'll move my ticker tomorrow...

But, this month, I am going keep on top of it, and weigh in at Christmas lighter. I swear i will, or I'll know why!
 
Okay, so I had to move my ticker... *long suffering sigh* But now that I have, I'm that much more determined to get it back where I was!!!!

So, today, I had honey nut cherrios for breakfast,
turkey soup for lunch
and a turkey quesadilla that amounted to approximately to 350 total calories in that.

Plus two small cookies I made today. (You have to understand though, that i was excited by this batch. 1. They were not burnt, flat, or otherwise odd looking. and 2. THEY WERE AMAZINGLY YUMMY! )

So, I controlled myself, and I'm done eating for the day, unless I have a little snack, but hightly unlikely, unless mom comes home with some apples. :D
 
okay, okay, I lied... I went to a "supermario smash brothers party" (it was fun) and there was TONS of junkfood...:eek:!! BUT, I only had a little bit of the munchies, and a cookie...then, at the very end, my stomach was growling, so I had a small piece of cold pizza. oops. But oh well. I'll do good today.
 
Ok, so I'm trying something new. I'm writing down EVERYTHING that i eat. I'm going to try counting the calories this time around, rather than just a half-hearted estimation in my head, where more often than not, I lied to myself, or "did the math wrong" :D

So far today I have had,
Turkey sandwich with 1 slice of cheese: 380calories
Chicken Quesadilla with wheat tortilla, and a glass of crystal light: 368calories

Total so far: 748 calories. Not too bad. Leaves room for a snack and a good dinner. I'm keeping a journal at home of everything that I eat, and I'm going to take it with me everywhere, or i'll enter it into my little palm pilot, and put it in the journal later.

I hope that I do better with this, so that I can actually SEE what i'm doing wrong and right!
 
Dinner: Kid's plate chicken burrito w/ rice and beans
Approximately 647 calories...

Bringing me to a grand total of 1395! This is great, because I'm aiming for somewhere between 1200-1400! I just barely made it!

p.s. I also have to say that my parent's and sister orderd flan and churros... And I didn't touch them!
