Reaching For the Dreams....

Ok, doing well today.

Breakfast: 2 eggs and 1 piece of wheat toast: 290
Lunch: 2 pieces of wheat toast with turkey and melted cheese on top:518

So, so far, my total is 908 cals, so That leaves me with some room. Going to my bro's basketball game today, and usually dad brings everyone out to eat after...*groan* I'm thinking that i'll have a salad, or something just a small and good for me.
 
Okay, today= another good day.

Dinner was a turkey quesadilla in a whole wheat tortilla. =398 cals
And I had a small apple for a snack=74 cals

Grand total for the day? 1380 cals. Not bad. It was better than yesterday too! Go me! :D

Today so far I've done well.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of toast with some jelly: 400 cal
Lunch: PB&J on wheat bread : 295 cal

So that leaves me with about 650 cals left!

And, I also went to the YMCA today and played some raquetball and some 2 on 1 (I was the 1) basketball. It was fun, and I drank a whole nalgeen bottle.
 
Dinner: soup and sandwich with grapes for dessert : approximately 723 cals
Total for the day: 1328

I'm heading into day 4 of counting calories, and I like doing it this way. Much more organized, and being able to see what i'm eating really helps! :D
 
Yeah posting mine really helps too, allthough i need to really count up my cals in stead of just listing what i eat...... I get a account and that helps but..... totals would be even better....:confused:

Lunch: turkey sandwich w/ cheese on sourdough bread -295ish
dinner: soup and sandwich - 720ish

Grand total for the day: approximately 1335ish calories. Another good day...

aaaaannnddd... I GET TO MOVE MY TICKER! woot!

I also went to the YMCA again today. Did 25 min on the cross trainer, and then another 15 on the treadmill (ran 1 mile) Then, I went upstairs and played some basketball with my little brother. All in all a good day.

I'm also going to start adding little quotes at the end of each post.. Just to spice things up a bit.

Good morning sounds like your doing good...WHen I started counting my cals it really helped me out alot as well plus you start realizing nad wonder if somethign is even worth eating, LOL...COngrats on your ticker movage, I need to go make one so I can move it, HAHAHA...enjoy your day chicky...Im gonna make a point of dropping in daily/regularly:D:D:D

Totaly so far: 980, and that leaves room for the yummy chili my mom is going to make tonight! I can't wait! yum yum! :D

Ok, for dinner, I honestly don't know the exact amount of cals, so i'm going to say 550. so the whole total for the day is 1530. That's not too bad, and the fact that I also went to the gym, and ran keeps things in balance.

I was wondering how long it took you to reach the half way mark... i need motivation or something... I feel like i need to lose all the weight in a day or something. But i know thats not true...

Ok,

Breakfast: bagel w/ cream cheese approx 375 cal
Lunch: chili and rice: approximately 420 cals
so that's 795 cals so far, and i still need to eat dinner. I'm doing good today.

Especially since I spent half an hour on the cross trainer today, and burned a mess of calories and felt good afterwards. *kisses Y card* Oh yes, I love this thing...:D:D!

I demolish my bridges behind me...then there is no choice but to move forward.

well.. it's weigh in day...

aaaaannnddd. 189! that's a loss of 4lbs! I love it! I'm definately going to keep this up for the long haul! :D I have to go and change my ticker..

Now for story time. I came home from school and had a small bowl of cereal (I poured some of what I had originally poured back into the box) When I got up, and still wanted food even though I was not hungry any more. So I went to the cupboard and pulled out some peanut butter, and went to the refridgerator and pulled out some jellly too. Got the bread, and put two pieces on the counter, and went to the drawer and pulled out a butter knife....

and I got to thinking... What the heck am i doing? I just saw the scale tell me that I'm really close to 188. Which was before, an impossible number for me to see, and it's right in my grasps now. So I put everything back into it's place, and didn't eat it. So now, I've had about 890 cals, and I still have dinner to go. And I think we're either going out, or mom is going to make something yummy. So, I can't wait. :)
