Reaching For the Dreams....

Ok. So yesterday I found out that my friend from kindergarden has a rare form of skin cancer. He's going to have to miss most of his junior year. I'm scared for him. I thought that my weightloss problem was huge, but now I can see that it's tiny compared to his cancer. Please everyone, pray for him. His name is Mark. Thank you.

Hi xorie. Sorry to hear about your friend. Sometimes we get caught up in our own little world, and forget there are bigger things (no pun intended) out there than our weight issues. I'll keep him in my good thoughts, I hope everything goes well.
 
Ok, i know i haven't been here in almost a week, but i was watching a house for someone, (and her loverly doggies) and was living at her house for a week. (I love being on my own). I wasn't the best food wise, but the damage is less than I thought. Only .6 of a pound gained. So, so far so good. hopefully I can knock that back a little by tomorrow. *crosses fingers*
 
Gosh. I house sit for my neighbors all the time when they go out of town. They always tell me to make myself at home and eat whatever I want. OMG!! They've got so much food! Lol. It's a morbid paradise.
 
completely... it's horrible.. it's just telling me though, that i REALLY need to work on my self control! :D
 
HAHAHA!!! I get to move my ticker today!!! 192.2!!! It's mind boggling actually. I haven't been this low in longer than I care to remember. It's amazing how good I feel, and that's added to what someone in choir said to me today. "Wow Jacqui, you look skinny.":eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: !!!!!! That has had me in a good mood all day! I'm so happy! *does a jig in the middle of room* Now I only have 3 lbs until I reach my goal for halloween! Can't wait!

im 17 i know how you feel im the hugest girl in my school i weigh 294.5 pounds 1 i started although at 318 but its been years for me to get down to this ! but heres the beautiful thing at least for you im on a whole bunch of medication that makes me gain weight infact this is what made sooooo bad but im assuming your not on any meds? so im sure you can do : ) what are you going to name your horsey?

wow guys thanks! TravandEm: This is my journal, and now i'm going to pop over to yours. I love being able to talk to people my own age about weightloss. I'm friends with skinny people, or with larger people who don't care. That's why i joined this forum! I found so much support that I finally got my butt in gear. I love it here!
