Rah's Diary started May 07

Ok so feeling a bit better today
new week new start
i will be making a plan for the weeks meals today but i am on nights this week so should be easier for me as theres no chance of me picking im asleep during the day and i never feel like eating during the night feels wrong
So i eat my main meal when i wake up and have something light before i go to bed

Well i didnt loose this week but i didnt put on either so thats good but this week i will get below 200lb! i will i will i will

sorry I haven't posted in a while. Doing better today, but these past two weeks have been eeking by ... I think the break up is getting to me .. ugh

Thanks for stopping by my diary. Always nice to meet new people. I am in the process to move to a different state so I am not on here very regular much, but I will be when I get settled down. I am hoping we can get to know one another better!!:)
 
OK BIG PANIC

My parents have just rang to tell me they are taking me out for a meal tonight for my birthday (which is tomorrow) and we are going for a chinese

Chinese is my weakest food i love it but i know i have to control myself
so no starters :( no bbq spare ribs
I will have boiled rice not fried rice :(
and i think i will go for a vegeterian option as i love sweet and sour chicken so i dont think that is too good

Oh well wish me luck for tonight!

enjoy the dinner... one meal won't set you back too far, don't go crazy and enjoy it...

if you stay away from anything deep fried you should be fine :) just drink lots of water, chinese food has tons of sodium in it - and that can cause water retention...

Happy Birthday!! Enjoy your dinner. I have found if you restrain yourself too much you will go on a binge at some point. So Mal's words of wisdom are great!!:)
 
Well meal last night was soooooooooooooooooo nice

I had no starters and for my main meal i have beef in black pepper sauce and i had a bit of fried rice but mainly boiled was really nice and i didnt have dessert but i did have 2 small glasses of wine but all in all i think it was a good night that could of gone very wrong.

just going to be extra good for the rest of the week as i have a few friends coming round on saturday night for something to eat not sure what we are doing yet though but i know i have a cadburys flake chocolate cake so i will have to dish it all up and make sure i dont have extra!!!!

Looked at your food plan..you dont seem to be eating that much chick..do you not eat so much on a red day?

Im keeping my fingers crossed for you that you get that interview. Ive applied to work on trauma and orthapeadics..i'll find out tomorrow if Ive got it or not..I'll keep you posted.

Mandie on a red day i normally eat branflakes (1 from a and 1 from b), meat sandwich (1 from b) and veg and meat. i will have fruit to snack on so not too bad really just on nights i eat so much less
I keep the meal times the same so when i wake up 5pm i have a proper dinner then nothing during the night and i miss breakfast and lunch because im asleep so only having 1 meal i really cant eat during the night

Today
dinner
bacon sausage scrambled egg beans and a slice of bread
i think that will be it till i wake up tomorrow
Oh i might have slice of birthday cake its just sitting there looking at me!!!


I should here soon if i get the interview hoping tomorrow so i dont have to wait all weekend

Food wise..Ive not been too good ..Ive had a bad few days..but Im back on track HONEST..lol.

Do you tend to lose more weight on the red days?? or do you just prefer them?? I think Im gonna to alternate my red and green days..thats how I lost weight last time.

Ooohhh....one question I meant to ask you...y'know when I last did S.W. I lost weight, it was great...but..I noticed that I had alot more cellulite..did this happen to you??

Sorry SW is Slimming World a slimming club in the UK and they work by haveing red day green days
On a red day you can eat all the meat, veg ,fruit you want
On a green day you can eat all the potato, pasta, rice, veg, fruit you want
Anything added to the meat/pasta etc are counted as syns

I think basically you dont mix carbs with protein and the syns bit is calorie controlled without many people realising!!!

I worked for me before my wedding but im not having too much luck with it at the mo not sure if its just this week while im on nights

The one im waiting to hear from still hasnt been short listed must of been very tough so not holding out too much hope! juat applied for a job in A&E so see how that one goes

I have had a few bad days with the food as well im blaming nights and my birthday so last night tonight and friends round tomorrow so everything should be back on track for Sunday and i will have a huge weight loss next week not too hopeful for this week any more

I prefere red days only because i have only just started eating pasta and rice so my green days were jacket potato and beans not very exciting!!!
but i am going to have at least 2 a week and push for 3 but hubby is doing it with me for support and he doesnt eat pasta or rice so its a bit hard

to be honest i didnt notice any more cellulite than norm but will keep my eye out and let you know!!

well its my last night of nights i cant wait to get back to sleeping normally!!!!
Im not very hungry right now and i think i will be ill if i try to eat anything so giving dinner a miss and taking something into work that i can have later if i get hungry jacket potato i think

Not slept very well today so not feeling great hope i can make it thought the night!!!!!

Sarah, I found that the more "free" food I ate, the more i lost...sounds like you're not eating enough babes..I know you've been on nights, so you haven't been able to eat normally...when you finish you're nights, try to eat a bit more..Im sure that will make a difference.
 
"Slimming World" sounds completely oppposite my plan! My plan says NEVER eat a carb without a protein, although a protein without a carb is acceptable (just not optimal).

Strange how many schools of thought there are and how they contradict one another...but most still seem to give some success.

But, I guess it really all comes back to calories in equaling less than calories out!

Yeah i do normally eat more and i pick on free foods during the day so i should see a difference this week

i have 10 weeks till my graduation ball dinner thing and i am still hanging on before i buy my dress i want to loose 14lb before then so its a realistic target im going to start the gym sessions 3 times a week i have let them slack last 2 weeks
