Rah's Diary started May 07

Hi

I have had really good food day yesterday and ate really well so im happy about that even though i did feel like eating loads of chocolate as comfort
I dont think the interview went well really and i wont find out for at least 2 weeks so thats not helping its ages away :(

But anyway im planning on having a really good day again today i have stocked up on good foods for me to eat in work (bananas apples and pinapple) while everyone else will be eating biscuits, chocolate, cakes, I refused a pasty and cake from a bakery yesterday so im really happy about that as well.

Starting to worry about the weigh in tomorrow I really need to get over this last min panic about not loosing I know i have been good and not blown it so if it doesnt show this week it will next but for some reason i cant help it.

Didnt walk the dog for the mile last night as it was bonfire night so with all the fireworks going off we decided against it but we will be going tonight

Well I'm totally devastated I put 1Lb on last night 1LB!!!!
I can't figure out where its come from I have looked and looked at my food diary and just cant see it
So I'm on a mission i need to loose extra this week to get back on track for my 16LB loss by xmas this has really set me back! but I am determind to do it
I am being extra good and REALLY going the gym and pushing my myself which to be fair I havent been doing
Just realised I am due on next week maybe that has effected my loss and made it a gain????

Oh well its done now and back on track for next week.
I was offered and refused a Mcd's breakfast and pasty for lunch in work today so I am pleased with my little self
Anyway off to make dinner

I am sure you did not gain a pound, in the true sense of the word gain. It's fluid or needing to expel waste, to put it politely. You cannot truly gain fat that quickly.

I wouldn't get too concerned unless it keeps going up or the new pound sticks around over a week.

thanks for dropping by my page! I used to take my dog out for walks all the time! But I moved out on my own last year, and I can't have any pets in my own place- so he's had to stay home, which is a shame because the rest of my family doesn't really walk him... enjoy all the dog-walking! (i'm secretly jealous lol)

Thanks for dropping in it really helped,
I hope your right and i hope it doesnt happen every month i felt so down after i got weighed i dont think i could go though it every month but at least i will know what it is!!!!!
I guess i will find out on wednesday evening my next weigh in

I understand, I hate weeks when the scale does not move, or worse, heads the wrong direction. I just have to decide to get over it and keep going!

Thanks for stopping by my journal. :)

My scale has been jumping up and down ( mostly up!) all week. I was so afraid to weigh myself. I think I hold a lot of water and that's what's fluctuating it so much.

Keep on walking your dog, it's great exercise. I need to walk mine, she's so fat and she's on meds for a low thyroid.

Ok so I promised myself I would never do this but I did a mid week weigh in!!!
I weigh myself on my scales then go to the official weigh in (so I can see the difference in scales (0.1 lb) so if I need to miss a week I can keep on track so I got into my weigh in clothes and jumped on the scales and they show a 3lb loss so far so I am sooooooo happy, just hope it stays like that for Wednesday.

I went out Saturday for my cousins 40th birthday meal/party and I was really good,
I had no starters,
Steak (no dressing), veg and a jacket potato with tiny amount of butter
no desert either!
Then when we got back to the house for the party I had no food from the buffett and had a banana when everyone else was on the cheesecakes and gataux and drank no alcohol
The meal was really hard but i am so happy i did it now seeing the results on the scales

Friday was also hard I refused the McDonalds Breakfast that was brought in and had my fruit, my manager was leaving so she brought in cookies muffins allsorts of cakes I resisted all untill 16.30 then I had HALF a cookie, then we all went the pub for a goodbye drink and they decided to order food so I left as i knew I was going out on Saturday and didnt want to be tempted by both!!!

So a really good week so far and half a cookie is good considering they were sat next to me on the spare desk all day!!!

I lost 4lb im sooooo happy

I cant stop long im going christmas shopping (for decorations) with the inlaws so got to get ready

You are doing so much better than I am on this challenge! But I am still happy for you and hoping to at least improve my stats....

Hi

Well i have been good this week with the diet and walking the dog so was really hoping for good unofficial weigh in but it wasnt i stayed the same so really not happy but it gave the motivation got get to the gym!

So been the gym tonight i did 15 mins cross trainer, 15 mins bike and 15 mins treadmill and a few arm weights I turned a fantastic shade of red but feel really good for going

So weigh in tomorrow and gym on thurs for the same sot of work out i think

Im still waiting to hear from a job interview i had last week (they will let me know either way) so getting really obsessed with looking at my mobile every 10 mins LOL

Anyway Im going to get a shower
Will report back tomorrow with the official weigh in

Weigh in shows a 2lb loss :hurray: thats 7.5 in 4 weeks
My weight now is 199.5 im out of the 200's and into the 190's :)

I am going the gym tomorrow to do cardio workout im now aiming for 3 times a week Tuesday, Thursday and either Saturday or Sunday

I have 4 official weigh in days before christmas (5th will be boxing day so its not open) so im hoping for a 2lb loss each week and i will be really happy and on my target

Anyway im going read catch up with other diarys

:hurray: Yay, Rah! Wonderful job so far! You're showing some great discipline in the food choices you've been making, and good on ya for exercising, too! Good luck with landing your dream job...I LOVE mine, but it sure was a long time coming!

I had an interview on thursday 15th Nov Its now been a week and i havent heard anything yet do you think it would look bad if i ring up on friday 23rd to see if a decision has been made yet?
They did say they will let me know either way in the interview, Just hoping i hear something today its driving me mad not knowing

I hope everyone in the US has a fantastic thanksgiving

Well I phoned about the job...Bad news

It was 1 point between me and another girl so she got offered the job but was undecided!!!! i rang so they asked her to decided and she accpeted so means i missed out if she has said no i would of got the job!

Oh well i guess its not to be, i have another interview in 2 weeks for a job on the burns unit which i really want its really interesting

Today i have been really good very tempted to pig out and comfort eat but had lamb, carrots, mash, sprouts brocolli and gravy for my dinner but im not going the gym really not in the mood after today

Oh well back to the boring office job and dreams of using my nursing qualification IT WILL HAPPEN SOON
