Radiant's Diary

Yeah, great job shocking the boys at the gym :D. I love when you see them a bit impressed by your weight skills.. Of course we pretend we dont notice them at all hehe.

So exciting news guys. Wednesdays were going to be a day it was gonna be difficult for me to work out with school, soooooo I'm decided to kick my butt that day and instead of going to my gym during my little break, I'm going to be taking two classes from the uni gym, one even before classes (urgh I can't BELIEVE I'm getting up early) sooooo I am going to be taking pilates in the morning (never done pilates before) and a zumba class which is a latin workout dance (never done zumba before either!) at noon. It's going to kick my BUTT.

I'm going to talk to the people at the gym and sign up for them tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous. I HATE this gym, but it'll be good for me.

Wow i didnt realize i had missed so much in your diary but i see ya alot in the thread:)

Good for you with the gym the and work outs getting easier and making someone work out harder annnnnnnd of course for doing your thing right beside the guys, you show your confidence girl!!!

Im the most proud of you for joing those calsses at the gym during your break and such,

GOOOOO STUNNING Britta GOOOOO!!!

GREAT JOB! You are really kicking ass with this workout schedule! AMAZING! I wish I could have that much energy but for some reason I have just been so depleted lately (diet likely, haven't been eating much carbs....). Do you like pilates? The closest to pilates I have ever done is the yogalates which I LOVE SAYING. It was super intense.

Completely agree about the comfort level of working out around people. The other day at my gym, I did abs next to a posing class which three to four weeks ago I would never would have done. They were intense (HOT) men who were so in shape and it only motivated me to do more rather than leave.

Great work great work!

I love it girl!! That a way to push yourself to new lengths!!! :cheers2:

That's what it's all about....how you liking the pilates?! Do you guys use the ball or machines or nothing?

Relly, thanks love! I mostly post in the other thread, so I've been neglecting my own diary too haha :p

Buckeye, thanks! I do really enjoy pilates, I've only gotten it in twice so far, but I am going again tomorrow morning at 9 before classes :) I can DEFINITELY feel where the muscles are worked.. the first time I went, it hurt to cough for four days after, talk about intense. The second time it wasn't so bad. I'm thinking it's going to get easier and easier or at least I'll get more and more used to the feeling in my tummy haha :) It's great, though!

Alta, thanks! And like I said above, I'm really enjoying the pilates. We haven't used anything like that yet, just our bodies on the mats. It's a great workout for me, though.. doesn't stress my knee too much although it pushes it which is great :)

I'm going to try this pilates out! That is the same exact feeling I had after my first spin class and I'm addicted.

Trops, completely true! hahaha

Hello cutie! Can't believe how you've been getting into your exercise lately. A damn awesome job!! I wish they had Zumba at my gym, I love to salsa (a salsera so they call it) so I figure I would enjoy the class.

Chat with ya in our other thread :).

Thanks for stopping in :) And yea, zumba is a BLAST!!! I love it. I've been trying to get a bunch of exercise in, but I don't seem to be droping ANY weight. I'm at the exact same as when I started the challenge :(

Today was 35 mins bikes, 25 mins weights, and 25 mins elliptical

So I haven't posted in here in a while. Took the last couple of days off exercising unless you count dancing off and on at a few bars haha. Anyway, made it to the gym tonight for an hour of cardio and 25 minutes of weights.

A couple of days off from exercise can be a good thing, it gives your muscles some recovery time. keep up the good effort, you will eventually see the results :)

Soooo today I did an hour of pilates, 35 mins on a bike, 20 mins of weights, and 25 mins on the elliptical.

My knee still hurts and my stomach is still squeezy but both are getting betterrrrr.

hahaha my stomach is still squeezy too. I love that word. I'm going to use it more often!

Ya ya, Alta I'll do it. Gonna wait for the roomies to leave so I can go downstairs and take a picture. Grrrr I hate how I give into most dares.

SO, I haven't posted in here in a while. And I also haven't taken a photo for that other topic yet... I willlll get there :D

Today I did pilates, 35 minutes on the bike, 25 minutes of weights, and 30 minutes on the elliptical. Was a heck of a day to say the least. I came home from class about 8 and not 10 minutes after I am inside, I get a call with one of my best friends balling her eyes out screaming at me to get over there. Soooo of course she broke up with her boyfriend (coincidentally my neighbor, a good friend as well, as well as a fellow musician awwwwwwkward) and I ended up at her place for four hours instead of at the gym where I had intended. It was good, though... she really needed somebody there and it was nice to watch a few movies! She was falling pretty badly into depression before they broke up and I finally convinced her to go to therapy and will be calling to make her an appointment tomorrow, so hopefully I can be supportive enough for her to help get her back on track to where she needs to be. I hate when friends aren't feeling wonderful. Heck, I hate when anyone isn't feeling wonderful. So after she fell asleep watching movies, I went on over to the gym and got to my cardio and some weight training.

Twas a loooong day, it's just past 2 in the morning here and I have some homework to finish up before I get to bed.
