Radiant's Diary

I started on the arc, which I don't really like to do, but the bikes and the weights were taken when I got there so it was that or the treadmill and I still can't run because of the knee and foot.

Sooo I did 20 minutes on the arctrainer, then moved to the bike for 30 minutes. Did 20 minutes of weights, and then hopped back on a bike for 20 minutes while my friends finished up some other stuff, so pretty basic.

What I like to do is warm up with 30 minutes on the bike, do weights for however long it takes me to get through my little routine that day (when I went to the gym, I went every day, so I would do every other machine and do the other half of the machines the next day) generally takes about 30 or 35 minutes, but I took it easy with lower weight and reps yesterday because I didn't want to strain myself and whatnot.. then I'll end with the arc, started at 20 again because I want to work back into it, hopefully up to 30 or 35 mins by the end of the challenge.

Oh my god, I totally understand the mall food problem. They just plunked down a damn Cinnabon kiosk right outside my store- seriously?! Who puts that in front of the health food store?! Lol. Good job on eating the pizza carefully :) My sister ordered pizza the other night annnnd I ate four pieces. bleh.

I am going to the gym after I get this posted! Whoohoo!

I'm about 400 low on calories today, so I may make a snack when I get home tonight, but I'm not sure. I probably won't even feel like it :D

Just got home! Well and took a shower, haha.

Did 30 mins on the bikes, 20 minutes on weights, and 20 minutes on the arc. Whoo! It feels sooooo good to be back into a grove (even if it's just a couple of days.) It's easier to say no to junk.

At work, we ship a bunch of things to a Hutterite colony near by (I think that's how it's spelled.) Anyway, one woman makes the most AMAZING chocolates and sends us boxes of them, we got one today. I was all "eeeeeek" at first, but I stuck to my sammich that I brought and my water. It's not much, but I was really proud of myself.

Anyway, yeah, calories and exercise good today. Hopefully the scale won't still be up tomorrow, but I wouldn't be suprised if it is for a while as I haven't worked out really in months :(

Glad you're feeling good about getting back into goign to the gym. don't be too hard on yourself if the scale hasn't budged. keep going like you have been these past couple days, and soon enough you'll see a change.

Yeah, I feel good about finally getting back into it too. We just gotta stick with it this time, lol! Congrats on avoiding the chocolates- the huterites make EVERYTHING amazing. Its almost rediculous :rolleyes:

I was reaaaaally bad last night with food, but moreso drinking...a LOT.

I'm still slightly hungover and it's past midnight the evening AFTER. Urgh, the gym reaaaaaally sucked... but I made it through and didn't puke or pass out so that was a plus.

I upped my time (by five minutes) and resistance on the bikes and upped my time (only by a minute, haha but that way I'll stick to it) on the arctrainer.

Heya everybody! Thanks for all the encouragement, it's keeping me going :D

Went to the gym tonight and upped my workout a little bit (added a few minutes on the arctrainer and more intense with some of the weights). It felt good to push myself :D
 
So I got my butt to the gym today and did 35 minutes on the bike, 25 minutes of weights, and 25 minutes on the arctrainer.

I think I may have pushed someone to work out harder because the fat girl next to them was going faster. Haha, who would have thought.
 
Just got home, and I feel grrrrrrreat! (Although frosted flakes were not involved.)

An hour of cardio and 20 minutes of weights.

It's insane how comfortable I am getting working out, especially around other people. There were like six guys there when I got there and I just said to myself, "well here we go..." and I just went and did my thing, it wasn't so bad. I think they were actually a little surprised when I went and hopped onto the weights and whatnot with them right there haha.

Anyyyyhow, time to go get some stuffs done :D
