Thanks girls :)

Ended up in the hospital again yesterday... I got some weird infection in my cuticle of my thumb that was spreading, so my hand hurts horribly from the shot they gave me and where they sliced it open. Lovely. It'd be great if I could make it a week without having to go back again.
 
So the foot is allllllllmost better. I've at least gotten back to doing some crunches and whatnot in the evenings. Better than nothing, I suppose. Even just walking still hurts and it's semi annual sale now, so work is crazyyyyy.
 
So I'm trying, and failing. I totally ate Arby's today for lunch :(

I skipped breakfast, waking up late. I've worked almost 40 hours at work and can't go over, so I don't go in until 5 today. My roommate called me last night, completely trashed, and I was supposed to pick her up at the airport. She said her flight got in around "11-ish" I figured whatever, that I would go and wait for a few minutes.. she was having her 21st back home so I could deal with waiting since she couldn't give me a time. Well I ended up waiting from 10:45 until noon, and then left, realized that I hadn't eaten and did the first thing that popped into mind :(

BUT it brought on something good, I guess. I am going to go shopping tonight and fill my cupboards with healthy things again. It's been slowly deteriorating into crap. I've mostly been eating scrambled eggs and wheat toast, but that gets really old really fast. I'm going to start checking in here more, I HOPE. Urgh, I'm so disappointed in myself.
 
Don't be dissapointed in yourself :( shit happens, we all know it. Just get on here more often and use it to vent. Get lots of good groceries!!
 
Exactly....she said it best!.....SHIT HAPPENS.....everyday the sun rises again...a NEW DAY...a NEW CHANCE to get it right....forget about the past days...it's about TODAY....

Thanks, girls. Today my goals are to eat healthy, and get my room and house cleaned up... I've been living horribly and just throwing things everywhere and I need to get all my school things from last semester organized and put away and whatnot. Today is the first day I've had off since Christmas, and I'm going to relax and get ME taken care of around here.

My roommate and I aren't getting along well and that kind of sucks, but whatever I guess.

I slept through breakfast time today (yayyyyyyyy I soooo needed to sleep in.)

Lunch/breakfast:
Banana
Multigrain cereal
1/2 C. Skim milk


When I went shopping yesterday, I didn't get a whole lot. I picked up a few bananas, milk, tortillas, lettuce, cheese slices so I know exactly how much I'm eating, some steaks to grill up with veggies, onions, and asparagus. It'll do for a few days until I get more time (I had like 15 minutes to be in and out haha) so maybe I'll make it a point to get a few more things today.
 
That sucks not getting along with your roomie. I'm having the same problem with H. Its so stressful living in an environment like that.

Your food plan sounds good :).
 
God I think everyones had a roomie that they end up having probs with! I live with my youngest sister right now, and we get along great, but for a while I lived with my other sister and it was HELL everyday. Bleh. Totally happy she has her own place now :)

The six week challenge starts tomorrow- lets get it goin! :)
 
Uhhh roommates, so glad that I live alone. I lived with one girl two years in a row and lived with TWO girls for a year in a sorority house with an additional 50 more girls. I was so done with roommates by 22 it wasn't even funny! haha

Your food sounds good! We're on the same team for the challenge and thought I would pop in! Good luck!!
 
So yesterday was fine... I worked 9 and a half hours, so I didn't exactly have motivation for the gym, but I did go on an hour and fifteen minute walk once I got home and that was really nice.. at least it was something!

PLUS, I always eat at the mall (for those of you who don't know, I work at Bath and Body Works) it's something like, oh mall pizza, or frozen pretzels with cheese, or chineese, etc. etc. WELL NOT YESTERDAY. I went to subway before work and got a sandwich that accompanied me to work along with my water bottle. Yayyyyyy.

I'm shooting for 100 oz of water a day and I have a water bottle that is 74oz, so I just drink that plus random glasses, and it makes me feel so good.

I'm still struggling a lot with my roommate. It's just annoying having someone around who eats whatever they want (and I mean whatever) and then doesn't want to go to the gym with me and stuff like that. She woke up this morning and ate cheese and crackers for breakfast, then wanted to order a pizza for lunch so that she could get the soda delivered because she didn't want to go to a store to get it. Hfdsaufipejrvjamiocjoevarwa ANNOYING.

Anyhow, I'm still trying to decide what I want to do/eat for today, I have the day off of work so I slept in and it was amazinggggg.
 
Ha, that's like my wife. She'll eat chocolate and icecream every night and not gain an ounce. I'll have one bite of hers and I'm up a pound in the morning. :banghead:

Do what you can to avoid the mall food. It's so bad for you. If you have to, check this first:



Check out the places that you go and know what to order ahead of time.

We don't have a lot of those places in the mall, but it's good references and whatnot anyway.

I've actually asked starbucks and orange julius for calorie cards before and was surprised that they had them. It was awesome.
 
Starbucks calorie guide = Godsend.

Seriously, whenever I go in there now I know exactly WHAT I can drink and WHAT I absolutely cannot!
 
I'm proud of myself... my roommate just ordered pizza, and I *am* eating some, but I looked up the cals before it's getting here, so it's totally not going to ruin the day!

I made it to the gym last night for the first time since August and it was great. I think I am going again tonight after work if it's possible, not really excited about a 7 hour workday followed by two hours at the gym, but we'll see how it goes. I'm also supposed to go to a movie, urgh, annoying.

Yayness. (And my weight was freaking UP today, how retarded is that? :( )
