You'll get there and believe me it wasn't easy today!! I looked almost tanned I was so red! ;) My poster has gone to the printers so I'm out of the stressed faze now! I know my stuff so don't worry about the actual poster presentation, it's just all the crap I have to do to get there!!!

So I kicked butt at the gym again and got another mile in around 8 mins as well as 30 minutes on the super dooper new machine at the gym that I don't know the name of - actually I think it's just a really fancy elliptical trainer that the arms move on too :) It gave me a great workout whatever it's called! I might have to get on the arc-machine tomorrow- that's pretty hard work too!

I'm going to start seriously shopping for a dress next week when I get back from the conference so I have to be good! I am buying a bunch of fruit and making myself some pre-prepared snacks so I don't end up eating coffee cake and naughty snacks at the conference :)

I've just realized that I'll have limited internet access too so I will have to miss you guys!! I'm going to try but will report back afterwards as to my behavior! OH, and I weighed in at 131lbs this morning so i am not doing quite as badly as I thought. I should update my ticker but I am clinging on to the 130lbs because I should be back there within the week!! :D
 
Ooh extra workout coming up!!! My boyfriend is going for a run tonight. It should be an easy one because he recently hurt his leg so is trying to recover from that and it's his first run back. This way I get an extra jog in and I get to make sure he doesn't overdo it and can get home okay if he struggles :)

Might have to concentrate on weights tomorrow to give my leggies a rest from all this running!!

Congrats on not having much of a gain! I hope your run with your boyfriend is great.
 
Oh what a day! It's raining a lot and I had to practically run (ooh good exercise) from the gym to work because I have so much to do! Too much in too little time!!!

I weighed in at 131lbs again this morning so I am sure I didn't gain more than 1lb now. I am hoping I get to use the gym at this conference so I can work off that extra pound and then some!!

Wow, look at all that exercise that pound will melt off you! (it probably already has).

I am so looking forward to being where your at now, at a healthy weight, sneaking up on your goal, and with good fitness levels! I really want to be able to go running etc, my fitness is far from up to it yet but I'm working on it! I want to be able to run 2 miles without stopping by end of June!

Hi everyone! I'm baaack!!! I have missed this place and all you folks! I see all of your tickers have been moving! yay!

Well the conference was good, very interesting. I forgot my darn running shoes though! What an idiot! I did have a comfortable pair of everyday sneakers though so I put my feet to good use and did lots of walking!! It was a mile walk to the convention center so I got 2 miles in a day doing that, then the place was huge so I got lots of extra mileage in daily! I was good and took the stairs everywhere I went. People looked at me strangely because the stairs were long and right next to the escalator but who cares!!! I took some time on one of the days to have a walk and ended up wandering at fast pace for about an hour in the sunshine. So I came back and I am still 131lbs but I am pleased that without the gym I didn't gain! I do feel like I have lost some inches from my belly though, and my boyfriend commented that I look more buff! haha! I am going to measure and am getting back to running and the gym over the weekend :)

Hope you are all doing great - I'm going to visit some diaries now!!

p.s. I updated my ticker to 131lbs - yep, back UP again :( Oh well, I'm working on that!!!
 
never mind. that silly little pound is only 3500 calories. forget about it and concentrate on eating healthy and kicking ass running :) then it will be gone without any fretting
