I myself studied TKD so I have the strikes but my ground game isn't where I would like it. Every watch an older Steven Segal movie, thats aikido! Keep in mind that I am probally going to tell you that I am confidant with my striking ability to never get to the ground, and someone who studies ju-jitsu will argue that point!

Fighting in competition showed me that and I competed until I was 47! It's like anything else, you learn to adapt. I think my highest quality right now in my life is not to be surprised, and that will keep me in theory from the ground, has worked so far.![]()
