That is really what I am working hard to avoid. I say "working hard" because it is so tough, but it gets easier each time I slip.
I was really low on calories at dinnertime yesterday, so I decided to make myself a "treat" dinner, because I was cooking for friends. I made some half-carb rotini pasta, tossed with peas and sausage in homemade alfredo sauce. Delicious, I must have had 1200 calories in that meal. It was a nice long one, we munched on it for a good hour or two, and I felt pretty good... until my stomach started gurgling and I spent the next couple of hours in the bathroom.
I feel like I must be a complete idiot to not remember what the rich food does to my stomach now... *sigh* It tasted good, but I wished I had thought to separate the veggies, so I could focus on them more.
I'm not sure it would have solved the problem though; my stomach has been acting up if I eat too much vegetation, too. Anything but meat and cheese seems to make me into a gastrointestinal wreck this past few weeks, and I don't eat too much of those.
Well, I'm doing pretty well today so far, I hope it wasn't just my medicine messing with me last night. I am so tired of this diabetes crap...

Yeah, I also have to avoid the "rich creamy delicious foods" too. One of the reasons I love this WOE is it gives me a good reason to avoid it entirely. Although I do have a yummy coconut custard recipe that works for this WOE when I'm not doing strictly meat & egg.
