are you working out? if not, start some weight training.
 
If you want to gain weight cardio might not be necessary. But some light cardio on your off days will help recovery and prevent fat gain if you eat a calorie surplus.

true, but I got the impression he was running in the morning on an empty stomach, which would be a no-no for bulking.

maybe I misinterpereted the post though.
 
Are you weight training currently. As said before, the only way you are going to reach you muscle increase goals is if you eat a healthy caloric surplus coupled with a proper weight training regime. We can help you after you tell us what you are doing currently.

Also, cut back on cardio, but don't cut it out completely. I don't have a problem with you running in the morning, just cut it down to a couple of times each week while you are trying to bulk.
