Put that down, fatty!

Hullo all,

Thanks Don, that's nice of you :)

My 2 days away were AMAZING. Such hot weather and camping was so much fun. Actually ate very little apart from two pub lunches as I didn't trust the sausages on the BBQ. I had one half of one and was up all night with tummy trouble so it serves me right! We did 10 miles walking on the first day (soooo long) and then yesterday we did about 6 miles I think. Today I did nothing as I felt so rough from the evil sausage of doom. Very tanned now and desperate to be able to join in with the skinny dipping in the sea next time we go camping! ;)

Food today has been a pub lunch as well so probably best to start diary fresh tomorrow. I have a friend cooking thai food tonight (which I don't like) so I wont have much to eat after such a big lunch which is good. Will check in tomorrow with a weigh in.

Love xx

So, figured I'd put on some weight whilst away (pub lunches, om nom nom) but I have not! I'm still 217. I can't wait to kick butt today!

So I got up at 8:30am after Yank went to work (he's my other half for those of you who don't know. My better half :)) and I hung out two loads of laundry. It's 20 degrees here already so that made me sweat a bit! Then I cleaned the kitchen and unpacked from camping. Felt like quite a work out! Now I'm taking a break before I tackle the hoovering and the front room. I have pet rats and they need a clean out as well so that should burn a few calories.

I'm really serious about coming back and kicking ass now. Me and Yank were saying last night how sad it was that neither of us felt like we could even strip off a bit for the sun. My male friends that went look like something out of a Calvin Klein advert (lovely viewing for me!) and my girl friends are both have lovely figures. I felt so pale and whale like. Was not good--I would have loved a dip in the ocean.

So I'm in a size 16-18 right now. This is officially day 1 of my Summer holidays. Got 6 weeks to go. Lets do this! :willy_nilly:

Breakfast: mango, pineapple and melon (100)

Lunch: leek and potato soup (114) 2 ryvitas (88) celerey (0)

Dinner: kiev (300) new potoatos (140) salad w. no dressing (0)
Snacks: wine (450) quavers (88)

Exercise: 3 mile walk

Total: 1280

I am 5'10 of Amazon woman! Very tall. Freakishly so. I should be about 160-170lbs. Me and Yank have been together for like 4 years. But we met online and then had 1 year apart (very long distance!) where we only saw each other once! Then he moved to England to be with me and he's been here ever since :D

Soooo, I'm going to be a bridesmaid! My friend has a 4 month old baby and she just told me she's pregnant again!! So she's getting married after the baby is born and I'm to be a bridesmaid. So def another reason to get slim!!

Just thought I'd hop in since you said such nice things on my thread! Is always good to read encouragement! And ahh, congratulatiosn on being invited to be a bridesmaid! That's wonderful news!

Also, nice to see another tall woman on the forums! There's a few of us! You've got me beat by an inch! And have to say, having seen your photo above, you carry yourself very welll!
Sounds like you're in the right mindset though, and i'm positive you will be able to gun forward and get the results you want. It's a bit tedious, but writing down everything you eat is a really good way of realising just how much you're consuming every day.. obviously it isn't convenient for everyone, and not everyone wants the bind of having to write in a book everytime they eat.. but it helped me immensely!

Keep gunning forward!
What're your pet ratties called, and how many do you have? I had a couple when I was younger.. they were lovely pets! One of them was quite content to ride aorund on my shoulder.. and he would come when I called him, too! Love them!

AI can feel your motivation and determination, and I LOVE IT!!!!! I have about 8 weeks before I go back to uni, and it definitely helps you to wanna try harder, the thought of all the compliments you will get from people you wouldn't have seen for ages does it, I think.

Being a bridesmaid is a good reason to get slinky as well, satin, and tummy bulges are not good. And oooohmyGAWWWWD, Pregnant again with a 4 month old? Jesus! Hope she doesn't get morning sickness.

Glad you had a great time despite the sausage. I actually cannot believe how much walking you did, that is craziness!

Sarah, thanks so much for posting!! Always lovely to come back to nice comments by fab people! :D I have two rats--Einstein and Edison. They are still only babies (giant chunky babies) and I love them. Mine can play fetch and spend hours in the hood of my dressing gown :) I let them run around the bedroom and stuff so they are super tame and lovely. They make awesome pets!

San, 6 foot?! *bows down to a fellow Amazon Woman* I bet you look awesome though, tall women rock. We carry our weight better and weedy men flee from our presence ;)

Rooooooth, thanks for posting my coffee addicted lovely! How's that going? *sneaks over to your diary* Being a bridemaid is a very good reason to get slim! I need to be at least 170 by then. I'll make it!

Sooooo feeling sooper good this morning because I've lost TWO POUNDS! Yus! 2lbs!

So this morning I am 215lbs. I ate very well yesterday so I deserve a big drop ;)

Just off swimming now with my pregnant friend and her baby. Should be fun! Going to do some lengths. And it's a 3 mile walk away *sweats* It's so hot here!!

"weedy men flee from our presence" LOL! I would love to have that superpower...

Well done on the two pound loss! That is so motivating when a big chunk like that disappears! It makes the slow times easier to bear...

The swimming and walking sound great! Are you a good swimmer? I just sort of paddle about aimlessly and can't manage a good workout. Not serious at all! Have to stick with my dvds, I guess...

Hey flumeface! Thanks for ze welcome!

Rox, I'm a good swimmer, yah :) Although we took a baby today so it was more paddling about and not much actual swimming! Did a lot of walking though. 28 degrees here today so I'm a very burnt Sunflower :(

Today is going okay so far! Did a lot of walking and had a swim. Had a pub lunch but had something very low cal (a wrap) and avoided the chips!

Hehe Sunflower, 28 degrees... I live in the far north of WA and at the moment (winter) we have that every day! I'm at home this week and it hasn't gotten above 17 degrees (much further south!) The day we flew it was 30 degrees when we left and 10 degrees here when we landed!!! Summer up north is horrible... last year we had a week that it didn't drop below 40 degrees. Our swimming pool gets a bit of a workout!!

Congrats on your loss!!!

You must be so tanned all the time! That's crazzzzzy heat!

So, the scales have gone mental and apparently I have lost another 3lbs overnight. I've gone from 217lbs to 212lbs. Very strange. Am pleased though! Although that seems like a lot of weight to lose in just a few days. maybe it's water weight? Any ideas?

Breakfast: WW yog (48)
Lunch: left over casserole (315)
Dinner: kiev (300) new potatoes (114) salad no dressing (0)
Snacks: crisps (88) apple (60)

Exercise:
Total: 925

Edit: Will have to have a snack later to boost my calories up x

ABloody hell woman, how is 5 pounds that quick even possible lol?

Still 5lbs down altogether this morning! Craaaaazy! Only on day 3 or 4!! WoopWoop!

Off to a BBQ today though--dundundunnnnnnn. Will have fruit for lunch so I can be a piggy later ;)
