Just wanted to say that I actually remember reading your diary here from a few years ago when I was last on the site! I just recently rejoined under a new user name.

I wasn't active very much or for very long, but anyway, it's good to see you're still here and keeping on the weight loss track! :)
 
Hey honey! Thanks for posting--Slightly depressing that I've been here soooo long with such little progress but I do love the people here so can't complain too much ;) I did lost 40lbs last year but fell of the wagon and just didn't get back on it for a long time. So I'm back and trying to get slim again!!!



I have a killer head ache today. As in, can't look at bright lights and am all squinty type head achey. Too much drinking the last few weeks and too much sleep, I think. The house is a mess but every time I stand up it feels like a rather large elephant is squishing my brainz. :smash:


Never miiiiiiiiiiiiind, ey! I shall be eating very healthy today. I made a beautiful casserole in the slow-cooker yesterday so will be having a bowl of that for lunch I think. Not sure what I'll be eating for dinner though..there is like nothing in the house. Probably beans on toast!! :p xx

Good on ya for eating healthy while feeling sick :hurray: :D I always find it's so very tempting to think "I'm sick so it's okay if I eat <pizza/crisps/chocolate> in large amounts"

Hey girl, sorry to hear you have a headache today. ): I never ever get headaches, but my husband does, and it looks so awful! Good job staying on track with the eating even while you're feeling a bit under the weather, and get well soon!!

A walk sounds GREAT, mama! I went today and it was heavenly. The skies just open up and swallow us in if we allow. <3 What's in a meatball casserole if there are no meatballs?

LOL! It did have meatballs in last night but we ate them all ;) So it just had like half a meatball, courgettes, onion, mushroom peppers, chicken stock, garlic, leeks, etc. Just like a big veggie stew!!

Yeah, I do actually Roooof :( It's not fun. I don't wear my glasses for TV as much as I should. And I like a drink which doesn't help. Feel fantastic today though!


Got up and cleaned the whollllle kitchen. Now I'm all sleepy in my PJ's in the front room trying to get the motivation to do the front room cleaning, then clean the rats out, then the bedroom .Sighhhh

Aw, you and your sister are so cute together! Both very beautiful. :) I recently moved far away from the rest of my family, and I miss my sister sometimes...(only sometimes, lol).

Did you say you have rats?? Have fun cleaning and going out later today!


Oh, and about the raw egg-- I was so disturbed when I heard about it too, haha. But in Japan (where my husband is from), raw egg is very much more common to eat in general, apparently. And the dish is called sukiyaki, you can look it up, traditionally served with the egg. You dip the hot food into the egg just before eating it. And personally, I don't find that the egg adds all that much. Makes the flavor of everything milder, since it's cooked in a heavy sauce, but it's not really necessary in my opinion, so I only try it a few times to appease my husband, lol. But for him, who doesn't usually even like eggs at all, it's absolutely necessary to totally drench every bite in the raw egg....just the traditional way to do it!

Slow cooker is on and smelling delicious! Sausage and courgette casserole with mushrooms and onions and tomatoes. It shall be beauuutiful. And very good for you :) No oil or butter at all. Just stock, veg and sausage! I had a huge breakfast as well!

~ I just made a promise/committment today - I promised myself a 1/2hr minimum exercise daily - and I did it ! am just back from walking my dog for 1/2 hr. :iagree:

Having a good day today. Got a half an hour walk in (2 miles) and cleaned the house so had a productive day. Now watching a movie and waiting for my lovely man to come home. Eating is okay so far.

Not going well--Got some very bad news the day before yesterday and life has just kind of stopped at the moment. Yank's brother commited suicide on Monday and it's just been a horrendous few days. I imagine it will get worse before it gets better. Not logging calories, need to concentrate on Conor at the moment. He's devastated. He'll be going to the States on Monday to help plan the funeral so I'll be home alone for 10 days so can concentrate then. Will be back later xx
 
Thank you guys..Finding it hard to find the time to come on here right now but haven't been eating a great deal so imagine I'll have lost some weight. Conor is back to work on tuesday so I guess we'll start again fresh then. Thanks again, big hugs to all <3 xx
