If you're confused on how many calories to eat then you should go online and do a BMR calculation and see how much calories you need for your weight, height and and age. Then you can calculate how many calories you need depending on the energy you use (how much you workout, etc) and then subtract the calories per day you would need to do to lose 1-2 pounds per week. It takes you step by step to help you figure it out. That way you'll have a decent idea of what you should be eating and know definitely what's way too low.
