Put that down, fatty!

So, I fail at posting regularly.

All is good with me--Not weighed in for a while and feeling a bit whale-esque at the moment (time of the month) so I weighed in this morning and am up to a HUGEEEE :piggy: 14 stone, 12lbs. Which is like 2.5stone more than I was this time last year. Wellllllll, shit. So, back to logging food and getting on track again. I've done it before and I shall do it again!

Yesterdays food.

Breakfast: -
Lunch: small undressed salad, 2 slices of thin crust garlic bread (380)
Dinner: fried (in small amount of butter) onions, courgette, garlic, snap peas, mushrooms and 1 potato (270) grill steak (364) garlic bread (84)
Snacks: crisps and hummus (210)

Total: 1308

Todays food:

Breakfast: billy bear ham sandwich (400) (yes, I'm 12 ;))
Lunch: hummus and bread sticks (450) hula-hoops (128)
Dinner: spag with tomatoes, onion, mushrooms and courgette. (350)
Snacks:

Total: 1200

Weight: 14stone 12lbs

I think i will have to keep a daily food log forever. I do'nt want to go back to where i was a year ago or six months ago or anything ago. I want to stay nice and slim.
 
So after being oh so good and angelic and healthy for the last few days, I stepped on the scales after getting up and I am down to 14stone 10lbs!! So, I have lost 2 lbs in 2 days. Which is not surprising considering the amount of shit I've been shoveling into my face prior to going down to under 1500 calories a day again.

So either way, I'm pretty pleased. Today, tonight and tomorrow are always tricky. I only woke up at 2pm today as I'm working a night shift tonight. So the ideaaaa will be to have a smallish dinner around 6pm (up to 500 calories hopefully) and then I will be allowed 1000 calories on my night shift. Then I sleep through breakfast and lunch tomorrow and will only have dinner so as long as I don't eat too much shit on my night shift, I should be okay!!

So I'll write it out like this, I guess.

14/8 - Dinner: small pizza (650)

Night shift: dip, carrot sticks (240) string cheese (430) sammich (400)

15/8 - Dinner:

Weight: 14stone 10lbs (2lb loss)

Right, I am still posting! Despite fucking HATING the new shitting system more than anything. I'll get used to it but I'm really not good with any sort of change and the last time one of my forums changed their system I left because I couldn't hack figuring it all out. Do not liiiiike! Sure the chat feature will be cool though--having a little chat with Amy and Jen and it's a good way to give updates quickly on a more friendly basis. Or just talk shit about boys ;)


Weight loss is going okayyy. Still at 14stone 10lbs which is a 2lb loss for this week so far. Pretty happy with that considering what came in the post yesterday...KRAFT MAC AND CHEEESE! Yeah..I caved and ordered a ton of it over the internet for Conor. And by "for Conor" I mean for me. NOM NOM NOM. But still doing okay!


Some exciting work news..I've been told I'm almost certainly going to get my managers job when she goes on maternity leave in January. My wages will be doubled and I'll be working very, very high up in my agency. All at the young ol' age of 21! :coolgleama:



ARGH I CAN'T EVEN CHANGE MY FUCKING FONT ON HERE ANYMORE. I'VE BEEN DOING THAT FOR YEARS!! WHYYYYY!!!???

Looks like I'll be using colours instead!!

Thank you sugarplummm :) Very excited. Means I wont be working with my little kids very often as I'll be in charge of managing the care workers instead of being one myself, but I guess I can give it a go and see how I like it!!

Well I hope you don't leave, I'd hate for the forum to lose any of the regulars because of this icky change. It's definitely going to take some getting used to. Love the chat though!!! I'm on a night shift at the moment and have already eaten my dinner so I'm stuck here for another 6 hours (then 1.5 hours to get home) with no noms. Have 2 litres of diet pepsi and tea/coffee but am craving a sausage and egg mcmuffin like a mother fuckerrr.


Me and Yank are going out for dinner tomorrow as we've not had a proper "date" in forever. Think it's really important to get out together and do stuff, even when we do live together. So think we're heading into the old part of Portsmouth and having dinner at the Dolphin which is the oldest pub in Portsmouth! Very cool little place. Then going for a few drinks at Gunwharf I think and watch the sun go down! I can afford a breakfast muffin if my dinner later is under 1300 calories (which it should be!) but I'll probably just try and go straight home and avoid food.


Calories for today are under 1000 for a change. I made home-made spag sauce. 1 onion, pack of mushrooms (about 10), lazy garlic, a little butter, tin of tomatoes and some mixed beans (butter beans, kidney beans, etc) and some tomato puree. Very good for me :D Then just a little spag. That's all I had today (woke up late due to night shift) and I've had a handful of seeds on my night shift so my calories are very low today. Makes Maccy D's breakfast sound even better!! MUST RESISTTTTT!!!

Hello my handsome :D I've missed your face around these parts.


Weight loss is slow but going okay, I'm down to 14stone 9lbs this morning which is a 3lb loss. Slow and steady, ey? I have friends staying with me and Yank for a whole week so I've done a big shop consisting of mostly chips/burgers/chicken dippers and stuff as I'll be cooking every night and for about 6 people which I just don't have time to do. I will be doing a thai green curry one night and a spag bol but frozen stuff will have to take over for a week. My friend Mel is on a diet as well so we're both going to have smaller portions and try and be healthier than the boys, at least!


Off to a night shift tonight so I'll post later xx
 
Breakfast: 2 large glasses of sugar free squash (6)

Lunch: bread roll (200) ham (32) port salut cheese (98) hula hoops (128)

Dinner: pasta (220) green pesto (113)


Total: 797


Calories are very low for today but I'm going to my night shift tonight where I have 2 rolls (660 cals) and some string cheese to keep me going through the night.
 
ADo you count your calories over a 24 hour period or in a normal day-night cycle? Would it be worth doing some unconventional tracking- maybe work out your week's calories and work on that basis given your irregular hours? I may be repeating myself here, sorry, I can't remember.
 
So, I do it where 1 days calories run from during the day up until 2am of my night shift. So as if I'd stayed up until 2am and eaten late. And then from 2am until the end of the next day I count my calories for day 2. Does that make sense? Cause usually I miss breakfast/lunch on both days due to sleeping in so my night shift calories usually have to boost me up for the day so I divide them between the two days!


Not sure what I'll be eating today. My ASDA shop is arriving shortly and although I did buy salad stuff, I also brought a lot of shite. I'm still 3lbs down at 14stone 9lbs so that's good. And I wont eat now until dinner time. It's the late night snacking/drinking that I find hardest. Especially when I've been eating pot brownies. Mwahahahahaaa. But I will survive. And eat healthy.


Lunch: ham (196) ON HAM!!
Dinner: potatoes (290) two burgers (235) two buns (400)
Snacks: ice cream (230)
