Well, today has been VERY strange. Mum and Dad came down to visit for the day and to take me for a few shopping bits and lunch. Had a lovely lunch and then went into town and I was looking around at all these tiny clothes and my confidence just dropped to the floor and I started crying. Like, right in the middle of the shop. The 2 glasses of wine might have had something to do with it but i just felt so fat and horrid and like nothing would fit me.

Mum just whisked me out like the star she is and we went to a less crowded and highstreety shop and I found some BEAUTIFUL tops. And guess what:

ONE OF THEM IS A SIZE 12!! I've been wearing 14-18's since I was 18 so this is really a massive deal for me. The other top is a 14 but a little baggy and it's lovely and makes my boobs look AWESOME! And then I tried on some jeans and the 14 were too big and the 12 were a little too tight. Good to know though!

So all in all a rollarcoater of emotions today but a good day for shopping!!

Urghhh I have a cold. Like a full on snotting everywhere, can't talk type cold. Luckily Yank has decided that today is Princess Hana day so I get to stay in bed and be waited on hand and foot all day! I need to be better for work tomorrow :( The kiddies get poorly so quickly at work so I can't go in with a horrid cold and pass it on to them.
Was planning on hitting la gym today but really not feeling well--Will do DVD at home and some sit-ups though--better than nothing.

Last exam on Weds (eeee!!) so got to get busy revising!

It was a Mexican/Spanish themed night! And yusyus, I'm very lucky to have Yank :) He just ran me a bath as well! I'm spoilt!

The first one is from January when I started my journey at over 200 pounds. My belly is going!! So yeah, I'm sorry if I've turned you blind after witnessing the podge that is Sunflower but I look much better now!!

Yayyy! *tears up* You guys are so cute. It was quite hard posting that picture from January but I'm so glad I don't look like that anymore :) Feeling good! Just got back from an hours walk as well even though I'm full of cold! Although Yank just brought doritios and dip so I may well curl up in bed now and sleep til my next shift to avoid temptation! OMG you look amazing! Such an inspiration. You look like you carry weight in much the same places as me. I had a lot of belly on me in the beginning too, but after 30 pounds down I am finally seeing a difference. Keep up the awesome work!
 
Thanks girls :D Ruined it today with doritoes for lunch but I *never* eat those anymore so it was worth it!! And now I'm having a good dinner to make up for it :D
 
Hey sunflower, i admit i did kind of skip over your diary, 44 pages is a bit much for this time in the morning :p but i like what i saw on the pages i did look at!! Very inspirational!! An you look amazing in the pics posted at the start of this page!! I hope you are as proud of yourself as I am!! That takes a lot of time and effort to achieve results like that!! Great work :)

Right, I HAVE to have a few days of perfect eating. I've been slowly slipping higher and higher above 1200 a day and eating stuff that I would not have DREAMED of eating 2 months ago. So, back on the wagon! I weighed in this morning and I'm still EXACTLY the same and that's just not going to work for me, I'm afraid!

I'm supposed to have my weigh-ins on fridays until I can get back to a WW meeting. I think I've decided to hold off for a while and use my posh scales at home. They are very accurate and although I'm struggling to not jump on them every 30 mins, I think they'll be fine to use until I can get back to WW.

So I've got a few days til friday--I figure I can drop a pound before then. Will be going to the gym after my exam tomorrow because I don't have work so hopefully that'll tip the scales in my favour!!

Impressive photos sunflower,it seems that you really don't have that far
to go, at least not till your body will look lean. The weight scale is a good
way to keep track, but the mirror is much better..lol

...congrats on your results, and very inspiring to see how you build momentum
in your weight loss program and how you are constantly changing your approach
and your attitude toward nutrition.

...and these small steps backwards, are only temporary and will help you to keep
moving toward your goal in the long run.

As long as you keep going without ever quitting or giving up you will arrive at
your final destination and will have that great body that you deserve!
 
Awhh, thanks Alex! That's so kind of you to say :D I'll get there eventually! Think I want to drop another 15-20lbs but we'll see how I'm looking after another 10 :D
 
We're at about the same stage in our weight loss. I've lost about 35lbs so far and have about 20 more to lose. I'm hoping that it won't slow down as we get nearer to our goals.
