Put that down, fatty!

Thank you! And yes, I'm trying to stay positive and keep my eye on the goal!!

*shakes bingo wings*

This stew is gonna be AWESOME. I'm making a word doc now with stuff I want to try.
I like the sound of these 2:

Way to go Sunflower! I love your positive attitude. It really got me out of a little funk I was in! Well done on your consistent weight loss and esp your positive attitude!

:)

I completely agree. I have soo much work to do, and I just spent about an hour and a half reading through the posts on this thread, but it was worth it. You are hilarious and seem like such a friendly, awesome person. I am inspired by you. Congrats on what you have already achieved, you are amazing, girl!!

:willy_nilly: <-- (I don't know what the heck this smiley face is supposed to represent, but it makes me lol)

Whirlwind that smiley face is awesome!

Sunflower, stuffed peppers are SOOO good. I should make some myself!

I'm backkk :D

Had a lovely few days in Wales. Was very healthy :) Weighed myself on my friends scales on weds because I couldn't go to WW this week. It said I've lost 5lbs. BUT, she thinks they may be off by a pound or two. So i'm going with 2-3 which is still AWESOME!

Tonight I'm just going to have that stewtypething I made the other night which is healthy and then going to go to ze gym tomorrow because it's my day off :)

Hope my fellow fatties are doing well and being good. You were all often on my mind over the last few days (usually when choc was being offered!!)

Lots of love

nom nom nom indeed!

You kill me and your food sounds delicious. The best kinds of dinners are delicious left overs.

Congrats on the weight loss and inches loss. You did better than me with your holiday diet and you deserve it!

Haha, thanks Whiskeyy! <3 And I'm sure you did fine! It's never as bad as you think it is!

Today is my day off from Uni and stuffs and I had planned to go to the gym or a walk by now BUT I got the BEST news this morning.

My Yank finally got his visa approved! So he shall be here next week! Hopefully to be greeted by a smaller girlfriend!!

So I've just been sat in bed grinning like an idiot and drinking tea like a loon :)

Money is really tight at the moment--have literally about £9 to my name right now! Starting this new job working with disabled kids soon but I need money NOW! And I have to wait for my police check and training to be done :( *sigh*

Have sent pleading text message to mother making her feel guilty for going on holiday without telling me so I may have a little extra coming my way soon! Just makes eating hard with no money!

I'm just using up left over bits and bobs in my kitchen until I get some more cash on sunday but it's all stuff like pasta, rice and just soup, which is boring and I'm worried I'll snack over the weekend on the more yummy things my house-mates have.

Ah well. Pasta and veg for lunch because I'm planning on working out this afternoon. Might just go for a walk though, I think. It's a 40 min walk to the gym and I can't afford the bus at the moment. So by the time I've walked there I wont really be feeling like doing much more and then I'll have to walk all the way home. A good workout, yes. But I think it's too much considering I've had a few days off.

I'm going to pack up my friends rucksack with heavy things (full water bottles, etc) and go for a long walk along the beach instead I think. Not as many calories burnt but the sun is out and I live on the beach so I'm gonna do it :D

I went to the gym! Go meeee. And walked there and back. Did about 10 miles of walking in total.

TAKE THAT BINGO WINGS *shakes them furiously*

Good job on 10 miles! That is amazing! - how long did it take?
Here is a soup recipe I really love:
Chicken Noodle Soup with Dill
Ingredients
10 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
3 medium carrots, diced
1 large stalk celery, diced
3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
6 cloves garlic, minced
4 ounces whole-wheat egg noodles, (3 cups)
4 cups shredded cooked skinless chicken breast, (about 1 pound; see Tip)
3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
1 tablespoon lemon juice, or to taste
Preparation
Bring broth to a boil in a Dutch oven. Add carrots, celery, ginger and garlic; cook, uncovered, over medium heat until vegetables are just tender, about 20 minutes.
Add noodles and chicken; simmer until the noodles are just tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in dill and lemon juice.
Tips & Notes
Make Ahead Tip: Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
Tip: Place boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a medium skillet or saucepan and add lightly salted water to cover; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer gently until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the middle, 10 to 12 minutes.
5 WW points per serving - 1 1/2 cups

Have a good weekend.

awesome diary! was reading it and you sound really on track! Thanks for your post on my diary :)

Will also definitely check up on your diary to see ea others progress! though you're way ahead! keep it up :) :hurray:

Thanks for stopping by DMR! Good luck with your journey. It'll be so worth it :D

And thanks for the recipe lady! Going to attempt to cook it tonight so wish me luck!!
10 miles took me ageeees. Alternated with 10 mins on really high incline with 10 mins on normal so took me a longgg while. Legs are hurting today!

Things I am looking forward to most: Reasons to get slim!

1. To be able to feel comfortable in my clothes.

2. To feel good naked.

3. To not be ashamed of my body.

4. To be able to *enjoy* exercise.

5. To feel more comfortable having sex.

6. Not having to buy millions of pairs of jeans because I get holes where my legs rub together.

7. To not feel guilt when I eat badly.

8. To show my friends and family that I'm not a quitter.

9. To set a good example when I start teaching.

10. So I'll feel little and cute when I wear his T-shirts and hoodies.

11. To increase my feelings of self worth.

12. To be able to go swimming without worrying about people looking at me.

13. To be able to go into any shop, and buy the clothes I like, not just the ones that fit.

14. Collarbones!

I made Falafel! (Falafal?)

It was awesome!!

400g chickpeas
400g red kidney beans
cumin
corriander
bread crumbs
tiny tiny bit of low fat cooking oil
onion
garlic

Mush it all together into little balls and you have a healthy snack or main meal! I had 4 of the ball things with 2 bits of pitta and am STUFFED. Havent snacked since dinner. So yummy with a bit of hummous as well!

Today I ate poorly because I'm on my period and I lose my appetite and sleep all day (woo for being female) so I've only had:

fruit cracker - 100
2 WW yogs - 120
falafel - 130 (if that!)
hummous - 50
pitta - 300

Which is NOT ENOUGH! But I did *no* exercise. Barely even left the house!!

Tomorrow is Sunday and I'd like to stay home and prepare work and tidy but I should really try and get to the gym before it closes at 4. It's hard because of the long distance thing I have with Yank. Often I'm up til 4am to wait for him to get home from work so I sleep late at the weekends so we can have lots of time together.

It's 1am now so will probably just relax with a drink (vodka and diet lemonade, not wine!) for an hour or so until I'm tired then crashhh for the night! So proud of myself for cooking for myself! I never do! And I made a roomie taste them and he said they were a little dry but very good! And for a first attempt I'm happy :D

MEN AVERT YOUR EYES

Ladies, when it's that time of the month--how much does your weight change? And how do you deal with cravings and such? I *hate* chocolate for 3 weeks of the month and then turn into a chocolate eating hormonal freak for a few days. I've got my weigh-in on Tues and wanted to see how much it actually changes your weight, if at all.

Are you sure you're 191? Cause you look way thinner than me and I'm around the same weight! Not fair! lol

I agree with the 'feel more comfortable having sex' bit...i've held off on sex because I feel so gross. LOL mind you i only have a 'sex buddy' not a relationship type deal...otherwise I'd have sex regardless hehe.

I too am on Weight Watchers...my millionth time over :( but i really plan to stay focused and I even bought the 3 month Journal and Food/Dining out Companion books...I've lost weight before on it, I'm sure I can do it again...just gotta stay on track!!!

I love the list you made about things to look forward to about losing weight! I hope- no.. I can't wait til we get there :) We will !

The falafel sounds yummy :) You are doing a great job so far, and yes, you look much better in your new photo. You look nice in the red hair btw

Risty: I really do weigh that much! I think it's because I'm like 5'10 so I carry it better than I would if I was 4'10! But yes, really am that fat ;) :p

Jamie: You sound like you're on the right track! Just gotta jump back on the wagon and keep pushing! :D

Thanks, DMR and Someone as well :D The falafel really were nom-worthy! Am trying to make chickpea and butternut squash spicy soup tonight! Wish me luck!
