Put that down, fatty!

Man, your calories just scare me! I worry about you when you don't eat enough! I understand you not wanting to eat for the sake of eating, so if you get full easy, have some calorie dense foods like add avocado to your salads (plus it's healthy fats and everyone can use those). Or have an oatmeal with your fruit for breakfast.

I do love your dedication though :)

Hey Sunflower

Don't feel bad about the pound. You have been doing so well. One thing though - I think you might lose a bit more weight if you ate a little more. I know it sounds crazy but eating under 800 cals a day and doing a ton of exercise - your body may be resisting the weight loss desperately. The quality of your exercise and weight loss may be being compromised, never mind the quantity. I think I even posted a month ago that I 'didn't believe in starvation mode' etc so I've completely shown myself up in a matter of weeks LOL.

Now I haven't done proper exercise in about a week because I'm a lazy cow but paradoxically I think this has been the best calorie deficit for me so I may up my exercise but also up my calories.

I think we're about the same weight (unless you just don't update your ticker) and so we should be able to lose on about the same amount - you more if you are doing exercise and I'm eating 1400 cals a day.

Garn: Thank you very much :D I've only lost 10.5 in like a month but I'm pleased with how I'm looking at the moment..Just wish the scales would hurry up and reflect how I'm feeling!! :p

Risty: I know :( I just can't find the right balance, ya know? Although yesterday wasn't too bad as after the salad (which was like 250 cals) I had 2 satsumas, a 350 cal WW meal and some cracker bread with hummous and ham. So I still hit around 900 which is better than nothing, I guess. I'm making an effort to have a glass of milk with brekkie now and having a bigger lunch to keep me going throughout the day :D

Whiskey: My boyfriend actually said the same thing as you...That my body is clinging on to the weight because I'm not eating enough. I'm going to take yours and Ristys advice this time and actually start boosting my calories (in a healthy way!) and see if it makes a difference.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, yesterday turned out to be quite good. Lots of walking. Ate around 900 calories ( I know, I know, I'M TRYING TO EAT MOREEE!) and went to the gym for an hour.
Did 45 mins on the treadmill (high incline again, no running) which burnt about 400 calories which was good. And then some weird leg exercises on a leg machine. And a butt machine that made my butt muscles hurt. Can you tell I'm not clued up on gym terminology? :p

Today is going to be a gooood day! I'm planning out my meals now to avoid skipping any.

Breakfast (well, 11am!)
Glass of semi-skimmed milk - 100(?) I don't know for milk :/
Whole wheat pitta with low fat cream cheese - 150
peaches in juice! - 100

Mid afternoon snacky-lunch -
Bowl of soup - 100
pitta bread - 125

Dinner -
WW meal - 350
side of mixed veg - 50
glass of milk - 100
WW yog for pudding! - 100

Which puts me at over 1000 :D

And boxercise class tonightttt!

If you've noticed your weight going up after starting an exercise program, don't panic! It doesn't necessarily mean you're doing anything wrong, nor does it mean you're going in the wrong direction. There can be some obvious and not-so-obvious reasons you're gaining weight.
Your first step is to determine if what you're gaining is actually fat or muscle. Muscle is more dense than fat, but it takes up less space...if you gain muscle, your scale weight may go up even as you're slimming down. Rather than just using a scale to measure your progress, you can get your body fat tested on a regular basis to get a better idea of what you're gaining and/or losing. If that isn't an option, you can take measurements at different areas of the body...if you're losing inches, you're on the right track.

Found this on ze web. Will check my inches when I get home! I took my measurments like 2.5 weeks ago so maybe there will be a difference!!

Good Guide for me

This is a good guide for me Hanah. Thank you for the effort composing this reminders! I appreciate it. I am now strating to observe this lists.

Regards,
Donna

Hey 1 pound is great! Celebrate all your losses!! Can't wait to see the results of the measurements too! Keep it up and remember you get more WW points the more you work out so keep the calories up too!

I'm glad you're trying to get your calories in! It's so important. Your next calorie goal should be to hit over 1200 ;) If you plan it, you can achieve it!

I'm dyeing my hair this colour once I hit 1 stone and a half lost!!

EEEEEEEEE!

I hope ya have a blessed day!!

Fit

The more drastic the change the better, and pink hair is always the way to go haha :)
I remember a few months ago I decided to chop all of my hair off (about mid back length) all the way to right at the chin... I didn't even second guess it, I did it the next day! I'm happy the hair is growing back though.. :p

Hats off to you, you're doing amazingly! 1 pound is still a pound closer to your goal :)

Thanks guys :D You're all so supportive *grins*

And yeah, mental hair colour but you're only young once, right? May as well be insane some of the time!!

Righty-ho. Last couple of days have been okayyish.

Had my Grama to stay over-night so of course she wanted to eat out for lunch and dinner. Had gammon and small portion of chips for lunch. One glass of wine. Small bowl of pasta with roated veg. And then a pitta bread in ze evening. Had a lovely time though :)

Today:

Breakfast: cereal bar, cup of tea - 110

Lunch: Ham and cream cheese sandwich from shop. Was healthiest option at only(!) 300 calories. But bad news is that it's only 12:15 in the afternoon. I WILL get hungry again soon!

But I'm off to the gym now which is good. Will be in Wales on Tuesday - Thursday at a friends but will try to eat healthy as I can! And I lost inches! Only a pound on the scales but a couple of inches from various places. Happy girl :)

Congrats on the loss of pounds and inches!

Your hair is awesome!! I was thinking about dying mine black with red tips after I achieve my final goal.

Thank youuu! Feeling good today!! No exercise as I'm too busy with class work but I'll take a walk later maybe :)

Anyone have any good soup recipes? I'm hungryyy.

Breakfast:
Pitta bread - 150

Lunch:
Pitta bread x 2 - 300
banana - 70

I am making the most yummy dinner! Kinda improvising it all because I can't cook and just wanted to use left over stuff I had but this is what is in it!

Bowl of mushrooms cut into quarters
Carrots
Peas
Broccili
Cauliflower
1 red onion cut up
1 clove of garlic
2 beef stock cubes
2 cups of pasta
1 red pepper cut up

And I've mixed it all together and am leaving it to simmer for a while but I just tried a little and it was YUM!

And I think all the calories are just in the pasta? Even if there are some in the veg I wont count them really cause they are good calories and not chocolate or crisp calories!

So it's just a huge stew things that I'm going to have for 3-4 meals I think :D Maybe have a chunk of bread with it to make it a bit more bulky.
