Put that down, fatty!

Put a pound on. Sigh. I've been so good this week :( I've not done much excercise but I did swimming last night.

(also swam last night which was scary. I waited outside until all the people near my age had left. Made me kinda sad).

Don't feel bad about the whole swimming thing and waiting for the people of your age to leave. You should be proud of going period! I don't even go at all! So be proud of yourself that you're going, and eventually you won't care about what others think and go in whenever!

However, having said that, you should also realize that you've lost a lot of weight and you look completely different than you used to. Try not to see yourself like that anymore and have confidence in how awesome you look now! So to hell with anyone else being there, just go in and be proud of everything you've done and accomplished.

Just also want to note on the calorie thing again! It's still far too low. You need a bigger breakfast too, 100 cals is a snack not a meal! ;)

:iagree: I'm with Risty... I wont go swimning AT ALL until I lose a bit more!! So fair play to you for going, even if you do feel self conscious. x

Thanks, guys. It just made me sad that my self-esteem has dropped so low that I feel like I can't even swim with people my own age. Was another one of those wake up calls, I think. I need to change. I want to be happy with my body. Thanks for the kind words and support, I really do appreciate it--more than you know.

Sunflower....just know that true beauty and confidence comes from within...you were beautifully created regardless of what you look like on the outside.

I hope you have a good rest of the day (not sure what time it is where you are) :)

Fit

3:15 in the afternoon here :) And thank you! I'm happy with myself as a person. I'd just like the outside me to reflect the inside me :D

Hi Sunflower

Eat more calories! Seriously!

This week I 'went off my diet' because I was away for work + lots of work deadlines meaning 2 - 3 hours of sleep a night. I didn't eat crap or go crazy but I didn't calorie count and I definitely ate more food than I do normally (because it was catered). I pretty much thought I would gain weight or stay even and I was prepared for that. I weighed myself this morning - 193.6. I've lost 4 pounds this week - more than last week and the week before.

I adjusted up from 1200 to 1400 cals and I may even adjust up more now. It sounds crazy but eating 1000 cals and feeling like you've somehow done better on your diet is the wrong attitude. Your diet is there to help you lose weight in the fastest but healthiest way possible. Food is not the enemy Eating lower is sabotaging your diet. I know it sounds crazy but you can do it the right way!

I know, I know :(
I'm trying! I just end up snacking to make it up which is good. Thanks for the advice, mate, I'm trying super hard.

Time for dinner!

AND, I just got back from a Step and Tone class for 45 mins which was AWESOME. Walked there and back 3 miles each way too!

AND, tomorrow I have boxercise.

AND, I'm joining a gym tomorrow!

Yay for me.

Woke up feeling very sore but still very..ready to go!

Watching "The Other Bolyn Girl" and drinking coffee waiting for it to get to 4pm so I can go sports bra hunting with my friend and then kick ass at Boxercise tonight!

Also, there is a Salsa class on Tuesdays that me and my friend Tammy might join--How good *is* dancing for you? Or is it more for fun?

Thanks, J, very helpful. I shall check it out! Always good to learn a new skill anyway, and like you said, any movement is good!

Today:

WW soup - 120
1/2 pasta - 100

Early dinner before gym:

Snacks:
biscuitsx2 - 200
some seeds - 100

cup of pasta with low fat sauce and mushrooms - 300?

Hey Sunflower, thanks for stopping by my journal! How many WW points are you currently allowed? Are you tracking calories for yourself or other forum readers since you are doing the points too? I miss going to the meetings and found that's the only place to find some of their products so I really miss the 1 point bars too - the PB was my fav followed by the mint. I found them expensive but so worth it!

Wooow, some exercise you are doing girlie. Good job! I highly recommend joining classes, I never thought I could lose weight and still have fun and I am currently doing it. I love my classes so much, in fact today before I weighd myself and saw th loss, I kept telling myself: you didn't work hard enough, you didn't even hate one minute of your exercise this week... therefore you have not done enough!

And I totally second WTF's post about more calories. I eat 1500 and went over like 3 times this week... and still lost 2 pounds! That is the most I have lost in a week in over a year! I only ever lost 2 or 3 pounds in the very beginning then it went down to like 1 pound or half a pound... ugh!

Have a great weekend, Camy
