pull up / dip station

hi all...

i workout at home in an awkwardly constructed garage...
i really need a way of performing dips and pull ups..

i've been looking in to pull up / dip / vkr stations.. but the main problem is that they're too high...

does anyone know of a good pull up/dip station thats adjustable in height? or have any suggestions as to how i could start using these exercises through other means?

wall mounts arn't a possibility due to the poor state of the garage...

cheers much,

narb.

You could buy a pull-up bar at Walmart for like $20 I think; attach it to your door. My friend has a pull-up bar at his at house and its suppose to hold like 400 pounds.

Pull up bar: Do you have a garage? 2 double bars on each side used to open the garage door, swing a curl/bb bar over it and there you go
Dips: 2 chairs, 2 of anything that is high enough and paralell

unfortunately no where to put one like this... we got a really awkwardly built old house.. thanks for the suggestion..

I have a rafter mounted pull up bar in my basement I got off ebay. It was overpriced but I got it anyway because I liked it

I've seen a doorway chin-up bar that doesn't require any mounting, it uses your weight and leverage to hold it to the door. I haven't used but it looks like it may solve your problem.
