Even if this was true, how in the world would you get enough calories eating apples and carrots all day?
39 looks like a reason able age for him...he looks kinda skinny though
Yes, all enzymes are proteins, and the body does break proteins down into amino acids to metabolize them, but there are 20 essential amino acids. Don't some only occur in heterotrophs? If there's no way to study raw foods, how does this guy know he's getting all the EAA's?
I like how they say it's "the natural human diet" Why do we have canine teeth perfectly designed for tearing meat?
I'd say you look young for 39 and he looks about average....and maybe his wrinkles show up more because he's so skinny LOL
There are 9 essential amino acids. All of them are available from plant foods.
Fruit is fairly low in protein relative to its calorie content. Leafy vegetables are actually very high in protein relative to their calorie contents, but are so low in calories that you have to eat enormous amounts of them to get sufficient calories and protein if you did not eat other more calorie and protein dense foods.
I'm older than 39, Gooch![]()
I just read an article where the guy tried a raw diet for 30 days. He had to eat about 8 1/2 lbs of food to get 2300 calories, so I'd have to eat close to 20 lbs of food to get my current caloric intake
Hmmm, I guess his raw food did not include any of this:
you're like a fine wineI'm more attracted to women around my age or older....the college aged girls that you see in a lot of magazines etc. look like kids to me...makes me feel creepy
He doesn't exactly look very healthy, and if he's only 39, I'll eat my hat. He looks like he's close to 50. Reason enough not to eat his groovy diet ...
