As far as the hubby, and leaving situations, I really think that when you do make the shift completely, you will be ready for it. And if you don't...there is a reason why you aren't ready yet. So it's still, ok. As long as you are still doing you then, by all means continue! And, by all means, yes...you do have your kids love! Always think of that! :beating:!!

And, you were always a ROX if I'd ever seen one! Glad you are living the dream out here! :) Forever in my eyes you will be ROX, a strong inspiring woman! :) The name fits.

WOW!! You look amazing. Your husband is completely nuts!! Congrats on the size 4. About being a cougar- there is nothing wrong with that at all. Some of my best friends are cougars-lol.

I have to admit that i don't remember ever wearing a four, either. It seems to me that I went right from kid clothes into a size 8 misses...and quickly to 10/11.

And as for fitting into such a small size...it's the only nice thing about having almost no boobage to speak of! I would much rather be a sexy, bountiful babe (I'm looking at YOU, Tig!) but the only thing bountiful on me is my rear end. sigh.
By the time I lose enough for my butt to flatten out, I'll have a concave chest....

Hot Neighbor came by for "coffee" today. He had no complaints about any of my body parts. In fact, he seemed to like everything pretty well. LOL!

I'm going out with a girlfriend tonight - a divorced girlfriend who wants to take me out for fun and dancing!!! It's been years since I've done that! But WHAT shall I wear???!!! Understated and classy? Sexy? Super-sexy?
But I don't want to look desperate.... This is too complicated for my poor brain!


And finally .... I've agree to see HB on Sunday. He seems so sorry and keeps texting me. One thing that made me decide to try again was this: I just read a psychological study that said that some men insult their partners because they want to bring down their girlfriend's self-esteeem so that she doesn't go off looking for another man. I guess it makes sense to me, in a sick way....and maybe that was what was going on with HB.
At any rate, he'd best not try it again....
 
I'm glad you have the courage to give HB another chance. I'm not sure I could be quite that forgiving. I would definately be leary about getting hurt again.

I am a FIRM believer that if you put up with something from someone more than 1 time, you will be putting up with it for the rest of your life! So don't let him get away with it after this once! There is NEVER a good excuse to be unkind like he was.

Good luck with meeting him. I hope it goes well! If not, well maybe you can get one last really great roll in the hay, right? :reddevil:

Hi Tig! You know, normally I am not big on forgiveness. once somebody starts shit, they usually don't stop, in my experience. Change is too hard for most folks. Sounds mean, but it's true.
But have I decided that the New and Improved Rox can be different. I'm going to give him another chance. If he screws up, it's his loss...right?

I still don't know what to wear tonight, though. A short skirt? Jeans? AAArrgghh!!
Any suggesstions would be appreciated!
 
Seeing you in that little dress takes me back to when I was small. I hope that I can get there again. I want to see if I can sustain an effort for more than four months! I hope you stick around the forum.

And to think - it's only going to get more complicated! I've met a few more men online and they are really begging to meet me...and I'm tempted.

Julien, a 38 year old architect in Geneva. Very cute and nice.
and
Steve, 36 and OMG gorgeous. Probably too beautiful for me! He's 36, lives in London, but his family has a holiday house at a ski resort pretty near to where I live. He's planning to visit it in February so he can see me! yikes!

I do tend to get myself into things.....

Last night turned out fun, but not what we'd planned. We ended up staying at my pal's house and drinking TWO bottles of wine.
Oh my!
Luckily, a whole bottle of wine only has 700 calories. So, I stayed at my usual 1100 for the day. I just didn't eat dinner!
But boy, was I smashed! It was such good fun though, as we sat around giggling and talking for hours. Jo is a friend I've known for 11 years, so she"s pretty fascinated by how much I've changed!
 
Sounds like a great evening. 700 calories for a bottle is actually not bad. Thats only 350 id. You share a bottle. Now that is useful knowledge for the rest of the weekend, hè, hè.

Your story inspired me a lot, I have struggled too to avoid the "fat" tag,its a tough battle but there is light at the end of the tunnel.I have learnt to be comfortable with myself and the so called excess weight. I am closely observing your progress

Instead of girls night out, it was girls night IN! I miss those.... In OR out.

My best girlfriend moved halfway across the country and then we all started having babies and it just hasn't been the same since. We are lucky if we get together and talk maybe once a year.

Lately my best girlfriend is a guy at work. He's always been just one of the girls to all of us though. LOL!

I hope to have nights out like that again someday when the kids are a bit older. For now, I'm too busy doing the mom thing to even keep in contact with my old friends. I'm such a bad friend...
