It rained ALL DAY today. Yucky. I was soaking wet. Bleh. I love the rain but not when I'm in it!!

So I ended up not doing the extra walking when gettign off the bus thing. After I type this out though I plan to shake my booty and dance around my room though for fun.

I ended today with about 1150 calories. A lil on the low side but not bad. Lunch was 16 pc of wheat thins and a slice of smoked turkey breast. Gotta pick up some tomorrow along with my Laughing Cow! And... Mmm. I didn't have my cereal cause I was running late today so I needed something I could stuff in my bag and munch on while on the bus. Lunch was also more portable... I made a simple smoked turkey breast sandwich - 2 pc of toast, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, turkey breast. Dinner... I was planning to make maybe beef burritos or spicy szechaun eggplant again. BUT my beef didn't defrost yet in the fridge.

The outside is defrosted but the inside was icy. So I made a runza wrap with the extra filling and had some homemade beef consomme soup. In Chinese culture, we love our broths and soups cause we believe it gives you back nutrients and can help restore our chi. No worries though the way my Mom makes soup there's almost no salt. And after she boiled it, she froze it and then skimmed off all the fat. My family doesn't eat alot of fatty foods anymore or alot of salt. And I eat even less now!
In other news, my doctor's appointment came... and... I STILL gotta keep taking the diabetic medication.

Sigh. We'll reevalutate if I'll need to keep taking it when I go see her again in December. According to her records, I've lost 26 pounds since I saw her in February. Not bad I suppose. Hopefully, I'll weigh even less so that by December I can be off them. On the bright side though... My blood sugar levels are now average. Since I've lost weight and taken control of my eating habits (ie: less carbs, less meat, less sugar), my average sugar level these past 3 months have been good.
I've started defrosting some chicken. So we'll see what's for dinner tomorrow. Maybe spicy szechaun eggplant and beef. Or maybe chicken & mushroom spaghetti with a low fat cream sauce. Hmm. We'll see which one defrosts first!! hehe! Okay, time for me to start dancing...
