Thanks, thought I'm not looking forward to getting on the scale again, I've went off track, and even had a p'zone for dinner a couple nights ago (almost a day's calories).

Wow I ate them, and they're delicious. Agreed, they are hard to peel. I also tried cutting the bananas into thin slices, and putting them in a freezer bag, then put them in the freeze. They're delicious like that as well :)
 
Haven't walked for 4 days, but I've mowed my lawn, and elderly neighbors asked me to do their lawn for them, and they gave me $30 :). So not all bad.

8 Weeks today since I started the diet. Weighed in at 233 with a loss of 3 lbs. Amazing, especially when I had a 3,000 calorie day thanks to the pizza hut p'zone. My clothes are starting to feel big, and my ring is getting looser on my finger. Still a long ways from my goal, but feeling the difference already!

Guess its time to make a goal for July, will shoot for 224.

I think it's great that you're setting a goal for July. I think they help to keep us focused.

I'm going to have to steal your slicing the banana before freezing! That is a great idea. After peeling all those frozen banana's, you'd think I'd have thought of something easier :doh: . Well, at least from here on out, no more peeling frozen banana's. Will do ahead of time :).
 
Been awhile since I been here. Time to get back on track.

After my last post here, I kept dieting and exercising for a little bit, then I stopped exercising and I let go of my diet for the holidays. I gained about 5 pounds or so over the holidays.

I started back dieting and light exercising at the end of December. To get some extra calories burned, I park in the back at school and when I go shopping for the extra walking. I can't believe it, but I'm currently 227 lbs. :sifone:

In light of this, its time to start making goals! I would like to be 225 next sunday, 223 for the end of the month.

A new long term goal that I have is to be in shape for the next tryouts for the college baseball team which probally won't be until fall or so.

aw I'm off to a poor start. Today I just felt like going out and running some errands. Ended up eating at Ihop for breaking, 3 pancakes /w butter and blueberry syrup + a side of hashbrowns. Then for lunch I went to hardees and had a large hawiaan chicken sandwich combo with a diet coke, only ate about half the fries.

not thrilled with my choices, but I tried cutting off a few calories by eating a chicken sandwich.
 
YAY! I'm so proud of myself today. Took in about 1400-1500 calories, even after having that new milkyway hot chocolate and apple fritter from Dunkin Donuts.

I was going to have a bite to eat at Arbys this evening, but instead went to the grocery store and got some meat,cheese,lettuce,and tomatoe for sandwiches. Kept my sandwich under 300 calories, and lots of nutrition from it. No mayo, and plenty of mustard :)
 
I haven't posted for a long time...When I started this thread I was 255 lbs. I've lost 80 lbs over 3 years, and would like to loose some more.

I'm trying to get back on a diet, ~1500 calories a day. I would like to be 160 (175 currently) by the end of the summer. I'm starting to eat more cereal and crackers. Now if I can stop eating those delicious candies sitting in the fridge, I'll be set.
 
Well the summer ended and I'm about 165. I'm satisfied with my results. Now I'm aiming for 155 by the end of the month, or sometime mix next month.

I'm also considering becoming a vegetarian, but I haven't fully decided on that yet. Not just for weight reasons, but after seeing what goes on in slaughter houses and everything, it seems like a good idea. I just think it'll be hard with no more tacobell ;>.
 
Oh my...I thought I'd never have to reopen this thread... Today has been a wake up call. I've gained almost all the weight back that I've lost the past few years. I recently bought my first house and got a new job sitting at a desk all day over a year ago.

I went shopping today to get some new clothes (had to get bigger clothes, AGAIN!) and a scale. When I got home, I decided to weigh myself because I knew I put some weight on. My weight, as of today is 230 lbs. I feel like I'm nearly back to where I started years ago.

My goal is to keep weekly progress starting today, and aim to lose 1.5-2lbs a week. To start off, I plan to eat healthier starting tonight and keep tabs on my calorie intake. I also haven't exercised for about 2 years, so I'm going to be purchasing a road bike within a month or so for exercise.
 
Week in review: Weighed in at 233 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I gained 3 lbs.....

I'm off to an awful start. However, I was on vacation (at home), and finished all the junk food that I bought prior to starting my weight loss. On the positive side, I started to eat fruits (oranges, blueberries and strawberries) and Light & Fit yogurt. I'm aiming to eat <1,500 calories a day this week.
 
I been doing good so far this week, keeping each day at about 1200-1600 calories. I got on the scale today just to see the numbers, and I weighed in at 228. I'm still waiting for Monday for my "official" weekly weigh in. I'm turning it around!
