Pop in neck while benching

I just recently noticed a very slight pop in my upper back... lower neck area whenever I first start off bench pressing.

It's not audible... it doesn't hurt... and I never noticed it until just recently.

It's almost always off the first time I lift the bar off the handles when bench pressing.

Is this something I should be concerned with?

It feels just like if you were to "crack" your neck (I don't do that).
 
If theres no discomfort or pain, i jus wouldnt worry about it.
 
Sometimes my upper back cracks when I first unrack the weight. It's just the weight pressing your back into the bench. I think it feels kind of good.
 
I've heard guys at the gym say they have the same problem. The consensus is that solved the problem by stretching and warming up properly prior to lifting.
 
Thanks guys, I won't worry about it and will try to warm up better!
