PinkyDolly's Diary

Right now it's 3:30am :)
I'm about to head to bed though heh.. something I should've done about an hour ago :p
It's just so hard going to sleep though when there is so much to do... on the internet! hehe

nitenite.... cya tmr

my colleague just brought out DURIAN MOONCAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:( resist temptation!!!! urgh!

I hated durian when I lived in Malaysia...the smell always stopped me from eating it. I remember trying to, and just notbeing able to because of the really strong smell...stay strong!!

*rofl*

sara...yr response is exactly that of my canadian colleague! he didn't see it but as he walked towards his work station (and he has to walk pass our dept first)), he immediately asked "WHO's EATING DURIAN?!" and immediately escaped back to his seat for fresh air!!! lol...

in my whole life, i see 90% of americans frown whenever they smell the fruit hahaha.

google for durian. see if u like the pic that comes up... hahaha.

Today's exercise:

55min of walking, jogging (spd of 5 - 7.8, incline intervals at 8.0)

Dinner:2 punets of strawberries!!!!

Hehe.... it's potent though. Fattening fruit. Super high in calories.

Ooooh, well stay away from that stuff then! Run, run like the wind! :D :p But really, maybe you should go ahead and have a bite or two to get it out of your system, otherwise you're going to go mad and eat like 30 of 'em! LOL

Lunch looks yummy! All your fish soup talk earlier made me want it real bad so I tossed some fish in with veggies and a spice broth and ooo boy it was so good... until I found the bones in the fish. Forgot to check it before I cooked.

Have a great night Pinkityboo!!

thanks everyone for dropping by....

peguin yr soup sounds delicious too!!! i actually brought more veg last nite, so seeing your post affirms i've made the right choice! hahahah.

hilly.....I am up and going! Just finished staff devotions meetings. One colleague shared on his trip to Cambodia and besides work, he shared on one depressing place he visited. The Cambodian Cultural Museum and Killing Fields Memorial. Some photos he took sent the room of us into complete silence. One area of the Memorial put up a sign that has a smiling face with a X over it. No smiling allowed due to the solemn depressing view. Only one colleague in cambodia agreed to take him and the rest to visit the place. Can tell that the scars of history remain in many Cambodians. Take a look here if u care to know more.

Lunch:
Mushrooms veg soup.
Snickers bar

Ohz...i miscalculated the Snickers calories. It's only 280?! I tot it was 500 and counted that for past 2 days. Urgh. I could hv got off the treadmill earlier last nite!:(

Just received a phonecall. Frm ex-colleague. Another red bomb! That means she's getting married. Here we call the invitation "red bomb" because the cards are red in color and the gift is by giving 'ang bao' (red packets with money).
This makes 4 weddings to attend before 2006 ends. $80 per red packet = $320!!!!!! *faints*:(

I'll hv to eat veg for rest of the year to save money.
