Looking good Matt. ;) Keep up the good work. I put on 3 lbs but I just got back from my weight loss reward vay cay so now I'm ready to finish what I started.

haha i just got back from my reward vacation too a few days ago? were did you go? i spent 2 weeks in aruba and also gained 3-4 pds.. lots of beer!

Judging by the smile it looks like you had a good time. I could have taken better photos though. :D

Wish I could have talked my wife into taking 2 weeks. We spent one week in Destin, Florida.
 
update.. took too much time off.. im getting back into it! going to cancun in january and gotta get that 6 pack ready!!

Keep it up....55 lbs in 3 months is AMAZING...incredible.

Can you tell me more about your running? I can't even run 5 minutes straight yet...and whenever I run (I Used to have shin splints but it's gone now) I have a dull aching pain on the front of my bone in my legs...hate it.

What kinds of things did you eat to meet that 230g?

That's quite a lot of protein.

Usually this is what i eat almost EVERYDAY!!

Breakfest- 4-5 eggs Bacon and Toast -~ 45g protein

Snack/Mid morning- Nut of some sort/Protein shake ~50g

Lunch- Chicken with something (rice, soup, yogart, bananna,strawberry, applesauce, whatever) ~40

Snack/Afternoon- Protein bar/Protein Shake ~ 45

Dinner- whatever.. Spegetti, steak, whatever my wife makes. ~ 40
 
Chiming in to add to this thread. Matt, you are an inspiration to me as well. I've lost roughly 70 lbs so far in the last 6 months, but I have a bit of a ways to go with losing my weight, but I keep on trucking!
 
Dude, you look awesome! i can really see that you have come a long way. How's the six-pack coming along?

May I ask, what were you doing on the diet part, when you were burning the fat? I have a unbelievably hard time with that.
 
The only thing i did to burn fat was run... I Followed a running schedule, it was actually the training for a half marathon. It has what days too run and how far. Thats all, i obvestly watched what i ate more, but still ate out and had a few beers.

As far as the 6-pack.. i am now realizing its not as easy as it looks.. i bet its still 6-8 months out.
