Photocrazed - Journey to a Healthy lifestyle

The whole loan thing sucks big time - I had to take out a huge loan to put myself through school and to live of fof - I had one child then - so I pay into scholorships for both girls to insure that they wont need to go down the student loan path - who knows how expensive the cost of livcing and school will be when my youngest (2.5) needs to go to higher education

A school teacher hey :) Ive always wanted to be a school teacher - Ive never thought I coudl afford the time or money that was needed to be invested with a little one at my side all the time - however I went on to get my Early Childhood Education and taught preschool forever - it totally saticfied me till I had my second child lol...

Anyway Im sorry t0 hear about your knee and I wish you luck wiht your fincial aid and classes and such

Sorry to hear about the knee. Aside from that, sounds like you had a great trip. I'm still holding on the the glimmer of hope that I'll get my son out skiing this year

Welcome home and have a great day!

We began saving several years ago for our "future children's" education. I figured since I was going back to school that I could use it instead. My mom paid for 2 classes and books and I've paid for the rest out of our education savings plan. It's pretty low now though, so I'll probably have to take money soon if I don't get a scholarship. Also the first 2 years, I was the recipient of several scholarships which helped A LOT!

Oh, and I'm subbing today for Art. Fun fun!

I also am registering for my summer classes today and having a hard time getting one class. I'm not sure what's up with it.. I guess it means I should really take that first summer session off.. hmmmm.

I think the real calorie total should be right around 1600 today, which is a little high, because I forgot I ate that silly cottage double earlier after working out. Grrrr

Man, I need about 3 days break after that last class! Wow were they terrible! I'm off to get some lunch and maybe do some walking etc.

Hey
Just to let you know, progresso makes a tomato basil soup! I haven't tried it yet, but will stop by the grocery store later this week to see how it compares to Byerly's. :) The Hearty tomato soup that progresso makes is REALLY good, add in a low fat grilled cheese...yum-o:D

Please, let me know if any of them are like the Byerly's tomato basil. I have tried Tomato basil at other places, and have never found one as good as at Byerly's. I want that recipe!!!!!!

Wow, I gots 4 stars!!! Wonder what I have to do to get that 5th one..;)

So, I did my weight training routine today that Steve gave me.

160 lbs squats 4 sets 6
90 lbs chest press 3 sets 6
25 lbs dumbbell row 1 set 6, 2 sets 7-8

My right knee was ok during the squats, but I did notice that my left knee was a little tender during them. Maybe I have been favoring it too much too quickly. I have had some Cottage cheese and fruit for my after workout protein, and plan to get on the treadmill soon. I am interested to know how far I'll make it.

Washing cars must actually be pretty good exercise - all the reaching and bending. And think of all the calories you'd burn if you got all Jessica Simpson about it! :p

Haha yeah no kidding. Think about my poor neighbors.. me in a hot pink string bikini jigglin all over the place.

Wow - I haven't washed a car in YEARS!! I might have to try that :D

Well, it really was an accident for us. I wash cars every year, but hubby normally is doing other things. We drove to the car wash and they were closed at 6pm so we came home and washed the cars together for the first time in years. I enjoyed it! Spending time together and getting in some movement and cleaning the cars all at the same time.

Lows were 38 and highs were in the 60's I believe, MoonGooddess.

High today..... 70 and low 49! Woohooo!!!! Birdies are singing out my window!
