Wishes, you burn a lot of cals weight lifting. True, you burn more cals doing cardio during the physical act of exercising. However, if you take excess post exercise consumption into account, you actually end up burning more cals lifting weights.... and that, in the end of the day, is what really matters.
 
UGH. I'm soo bad. I wish I would have come into the house and had dinner, but nope, I came in and had a snack..and another snack. UGH. I gotta do my weight training and my cardio, so I'll be back later!
 
Its ok, just pick up and move on! Dont' let that "all or nothing" mentality get ahold of you, (if you 'suffer' from it, i sure do!)

Anyways, your doing good...just try to have a good rest of the day!
 
BTW....I wanted to ask you, are you a photographer or just love pics? lol I used to be a photographer (still am in my own head, lol) and I LOVE pics!!! Just wondered if that was something we had in common??
 
I'm not a photographer, but love taking photos of just about anything. I went to Hawaii for 2 weeks on vacation 2 years ago and came back with almost 2000 photos :) I am hoping to one day become a proud owner of a digital SLR camera, but for now, they are just too costly.
 
Yea, photos' are great! Once I had kids I went pic crazy!! I bet you have alot of nice pics from hawaii!! **jealous!**

I'm not familiar w/ what an SLR camera is...I have a digital..its a bit of an investment but well worth it!

SLR camera's are the ones for which you buy the interchangeable lens. The camera's aren't always that bad, but getting the lens can cost you your first born.

I don't have any kids yet, although anytime I get around them, I go camera crazy, so I can only imagine what it will be like when I have them around 100% of the time.
 
Treadmill... Check! 43 minutes and 3 miles on the treadmill!! YEAH!
Did 4 minutes walking then 3 minutes jogging/1.5 walking/3 minutes jogging/1.5 walking/3mins jogging/etc.

I am really liking my results this last week. Today's scale 154.8! happy dance happy dance! There is no way I'm going to make an 8 lb loss for February, but I'm so happy to be out of that plateau I was stuck in, and I'll take 5 or 6 lbs any month!

I'm not going to update my ticker until Thursday. That's my official weigh in date for the February Challenge, and after that I'll start Changing it on Friday's for another challenge.. I think it's the Taxing Challenge! Thanks everyone!
 
good job!! you are really on a roll :) Keep up the good work hun, and when you have little set backs, just remember that it's just one little thing :)
