Phoenyx's Final 10 & Journey to Fitness

W00T!!! Made it back into the 150s territory! 159.8... just barely but its there!

Went to my yoga class last night. Nice 1 1/2 hour long class, so between that and what I did at home, about 2 hours of yoga. I feel a lot better than I did yesterday. Which means I am back at work today. Ah well, can't win 'em all.

Now I'm sneezing like I'm allergic to something. Bleah.

I really want to claw out the inside of my nose right now... it itches HORRIBLY! Still sneezing a lot too. :ack2:

And I don't know whether I'm craving sushi or steak. Probably sushi so I can load up on the wasabi and REALLY get the sinuses flowing. Of course I could go for a prime rib with lots of horseradish too.

I never know that yoga have such a great effects on weight loss, when when I think about it, I guess that make sense. You need a calm and balanced mind

Erm... that would be 'knew', not 'know'. Hey, my thread, and if I want to go Grammar Nazi on somebody, I will. :reddevil::seeya:

Spent most of the weekend just laying low, trying to recover from this bout of the crud. Managed to go to school yesterday, and that's about all I've had the energy for. Made the mistake of taking NyQuil last night. Sure, it helps me sleep, but it plays hell on my brain the next day. I've felt rummy and disoriented all freaking day.

Still, I did manage to do about 45 minutes of yoga, and another 45 of Qigong today. Ah well, off to bed.

R ewe messin wit noobys 'bout they gramer? Ah never new U was a gramer nutzie... Ah spose seein as its yer thred...

AAAAARGH!!! :banghead: it makes my brain bleed to see this, now I must beat you. :boxing: :biggrinjester:

I especially mess with newbies that have bad grammar when they have spam links deleted out of their signatures. :reddevil:

I might enjoy the beating, however.:biggrinjester: Oh wait, was that spanking, or beating?

I used to screw with a fellow employee, my relief man in my former position, by leaving him notes either spelled phonetically, with a horrible southern redneck accent, or I'd write 'em backwards, so that he'd have to read them in a mirror etc.

He always told me I had too much time on my hands. I always told him the scary part was how little time it actually took me to write those notes...

Depends on how you feel about floggers made from barb wire. :newangel:

That's funny in a disturbing sort of way.

Umm, thanks... I'm good... all set... Jeez it was just a little joke

I never said I was right minded. Or that I was even close to normal...

I even wrote him a not once where teh writing followed around th eoutside of the paper, progressively to the center. In other words, he had to keep turning the paper around in a circle to read the next line...

ehehehe, what could you possibly be saying to him in all those notes!!??

Oh, I'm also a spelling and grammar nazi, but have learned to restrain myself due to my slightly dyslexic boyfriend (he doesn't like being corrected :p )

Heheheh... just messing you.

You should know by now my sense of humor runs to the bent and twisted... that's why we get along.

Spiral notes... now THAT's funny!!! I think I'll have to do that to somebody. I've signed birthday cards that have been signed by a lot of people by meandering my note through the other signatures in a trail that has to be followed. Keeps 'em busy.

lol, you two get a rooom.. Or a wire..

Awww, feeling left out? :biggrinjester:

I'm keyboard dyslexic... I will literally spell entire strings of words with the letters switched... or I'll hit the spacebar then the last letter of a word joining on to the beginning of the next word. Happens all the time.

It just bugs the shit out of me when 'know' and 'knew' aren't used correctly. Much like 'lose' and 'loose'. And don't get me started on netspeak... using 'ur' instead of 'you are' etc. makes me get twitchy.

I just read through your entire diary. I just started medical weight loss with my doctor in November. I am not losing as quickly as I would like... my doc says it's because of my PCOS, and I was getting discouraged paying for the visits, shakes, shots in addition to busting my hump with hours of exercise and the exacting diet that I'm on. And then I came across your diary... very inspiring that this worked for you. I'm going to stick with it for a couple more months before I make a decision. Thank you for posting your story.

I DETEST bad grammar but don't judge people. I'm so nice, people in the tasting room can say, "I'd like to try the Mer-lot" and I don't want to make them feel bad, so I don't bother correcting them, although I make a point to say "Mer-low" eventually.

What a laid back weekend!

Shit, Friday I went to bed at 6am after Acroyoga and dancing, Saturday I went to bed at 6am after working, partying, dancing and hanging out, and last night I made it home later than I thought due to a cool guy....heh heh, I better not get sick this week, can't miss DUBCLASHv2 in SF on Saturday!!!!!!!!!

Wow... you read through the whole thing? I'm flattered!

Just out of curiosity, what is the program your doc has you on? I don't have shakes involved in mine, the doc wanted me to focus on changing eating habits instead of relying on shakes, etc. Occasionally I'll make a breakfast shake using the whey protein that I use for working out, but I add other stuff to it to give it more caloric stability.

I don't know much about PCOS, but I feel that if you stick with it, the weight will start to come off.

Yay! There she is! :hurray:

I'm glad you had a good time this weekend. That acroyoga stuff looks pretty extreme. Thinking of joining Cirque du Soleil?

Cool guys often are worth a later night. Fantastic!
